Is $200.00 way too much to pay for this Hedorah...?

Just trying to figure out if I'm being ripped off over at KT...?

I can't seem to find a web site that sells them for less money anywhere else that actually understands english so I guess this will have to do for now... damn, now I want the black version... aarrghh...!!!

I don't think that's too much. I paid over $125 (probably closer to $150) for the standard purple one that most people have.

The White is KILLER and I nearly pooped when I saw that. If you have the cash, I'd buy that flash.

I absolutely LOVE this sculpt! I really want either of those...or even the pearlescent with pink/grey/green (?) spray that S7 had a while ago.

(Not to hi-jack this into a trade thread - but I'd trade the CCP x Cure battle damaged Hedorah for either of these. It's basically the same sculpt, but one of the eyes is "damaged".)

that black one is the tits!!!! would have to be underglass if i had him(way too much dust here in the desert.).....saw those on kt.....is the 200 with shipping included?....i have one of the battle damaged as well and think i remember paying between $105-130 (although my light no longer works, anybody know how to replace the batteries?)....you may be able to find it cheaper later.....but you know how collecting goes.....if it moves you, pay up......you may find it cheaper later, or you may never see it again.....good luck either way......

I like the black and glow Figure King set better and they're cheaper.

$200 for an unpainted figure seems a bit much to me.

Yeah, I have the Figure King glow...and while the light still works fine, I remember reading somewhere that folks were able to blast the head with a blow dryer and pull the top of the head off to get at the wiring inside. I think they mentioned that there was some kind of glue that you could easily bust through, but you'd have to reglue the top of the head back on.

With shipping this big fella was exactly $203.30 so be aware of spending them yens people...

Ouch. I wonder why these are so much more than the Battle Damaged ones? They're the same sculpt with a slight modification to the head.
Anyway - congratulations! It/they are beautiful! If you get tired of it and want to swap let me know!

Ahh yah your right! I was wondering why it looked a little different to me. It must just be the change with the resculpt which makes it more. A new sculpt would have had to been made I imagine. Maybe there just trying to recoupe some of the cost in making the new head and charging the higher price.
Strangely enough Im not diggin it as much now that I noticed the head is different

Great 'poster', too bad its a scan and a laser print at 11x17 being sold as a poster for 10 bucks.
Get the original for about 200, its about 3x4

Oh and the White is worth 200 no problem. You will never see it again that cheap and it would be a nice center piece of any collection.

I can see what you're saying about the new sculpt, but there have already been 2 versions of this new sculpt released and they were a bit more reasonably priced.

Maybe this was a very small run. Or maybe it's a hyped up release and the prices will die down a little eventually. That has happened with CCP releases before.
