im a huge joker fan as well. and i was fairly partial to the scarecrow. probobly my 2 fav batman villains so. im definitly going to see it. and in i max for sure. it doesnt change me being bummed tho

Dude, if you havent seen the trailer yet, Ledger does a pretty good Nicholsen(sp) impression.The movie looks incredible, ledger(sp) included.

I don't think he does. I mean, besides, I don't want a Nicholson impersonator, loved Jack, but why imitate?

Anyway, just my opinion. Looks like it WOULD be an awesome movie, ALMOST, except that damned turd. I really WANT to like it to, but I've seen enough botched flicks where 1 bad casting job ruined the whole thing for me. Again, just me though.

I'll pay to see it, and I'LL EAT MY WORDS if I think Ledger didn't screw it up, but my dork-senses are tingling that this ICP-make-up Ledger Joker will F it all up for me. I hope it doesn't though.

I can't wait to see this one. Before I saw any pics of Ledger as joker, I wasn't really feeling the idea, but after seeing him, I think it's great that they took someone that you wouldn't expect to play this character. I'm sure he will surprise us all. I've read that fans and other actors think that Ledger is a really strong actor that has much depth and skill, but ppl want to just put him in cute boy roles. I'm really happy to see him doing something people weren't expecting. this makes it more fun.

After "begins" I've totally put my trust in Nolan and co. with this.

Your right though, if the rock was batman , I would have a hard time getting into the movie, since I know the Rock as " the Rock". From the preview though, I have to say its looking good. I mean, hey, anything thats not Shumaker(sp) is a step up!

Looks good, I don't think Ledger has been in the limelight for a while now so he has gone off of my radar is the "cute" english boy role. I am sure he doesn't want to be known just for those types of roles either so I think he will do a superb job in this. Begins really made me like Batman all over again so I have faith in the crew producing the movie that this won't be a let down.

It's really really good and if you like the bank heist in the movie HEAT..you like it. The director said TDK heist was influenced by it
