As a kid I had toys all the time I didn't know what they were from, I just made my own stories up and used my imagination most of the time. Kinda still how I like it.
If I like the toy, regardless of what it's from or if I am familiar with it, I want it. Than as I grow to dig it more and find out what it is, I appreciate it more. Maybe I'm backwards.

There is nothing wrong with buying something just because you like the way it looks. I do it all the time. For example, how many times have bought something at a flea market or antique store because it looked cool even though you might not have known what it was?
