 nice new frankenghosts
S7 has some nice new frankenghosts, this one is cool:
I'd order it but as a new collector I am trying to go after different sculpts before I even think about color variations of sculpts I already have. Although I guess I've already broken that rule, damn...

its not so new buddy, but it is cool.
these came out at the first VTN months and months ago. the same VTN where our very own Turtlegod was seen in the new dvd TOYPUNKS which i still encourage everyone (ESP NOOBS) to go out and get!

This Frankenghost really isn't that new, and (not trying to be shitty here, but) I fail to see the point of this thread. Not to mention it's pretty misleading.

If it was a new Frankenghost and he posted this thread it would be cool. I think that's the purpose of the thread. He seems new so I don't think he meant any harm. Besides he is promoting S7 so seems cool to me.

Well shuckers it's new in terms of what they have in stock is what I meant, I have no idea if this version is actually new or not. And yes I have seen toypunks (actually caught the world premiere in Baltimore w/ Justin at Atomic Pop, woot) and I not only bought myself a copy but a copy for my brother as well.
Curious though, is there any consistency to how many copies of a single color variation tend to get produced of a Secret Base figure? Do runs tend to number in the dozens, hundreds, etc.?
And btw who the heck cares if there's another thread, what, is like the global limit of kilobytes about to be depleted? all you old krusties need some new blood in your midst, to remind you of what it was like to be just getting into this stuff, before you put that third mortgage on your home to buy more toys, your wife/girlfriend left you, you had to move into a cardboard kenmore box on the side of the street, all just to satisfy your toy lust.

and skuttles rule, if you don't like them there is clearly something wrong with you, like you got molested by a giant turtle as a child.

If you want to make an ass out of your self may I suggest the Whatever board, everyone seems to be more forgiving about stuff you do on there.
I never even saw a skuttle before that custom post on them. Runs are not known but I am going to go with most are in the hundreds, if its a hot figure it doesn't even matter because nobody is going to be letting go of it anytime soon.
Some advice, size doesn't matter, well as far as runs go, neither does how rare a figure is or might be, if its a figure you like and its at a price you don't mind paying, pick it up and you will be happy.
Secondly this is the best place to get figures from by far. I have about 25 right now and half came from here and I have been at it for 3 months actually buying and researching the stuff, wish I started back in 05' when it first got my attention.
Third you can use the search features to look up stuff in case you are not sure if stuff is new or not, not much gets by people on here and a new S7 colorway would DEFINATELY be up on the first page if it really was new. Just saying.
and basically you could learn a lot about base stuff from all the guys, well besides me, that have posted on this thread.
P.S.
Don't talk to Roger about drugs or aquadots, or hms about the joys of eating animals annnnd you might want to find some shots of LivingDeads collection

I suspect you're just kidding, but just in case, please don't do that. Riling people up is no great accomplishment, and as food for thought, the downside is that someone known to be doing only that will lose respect and possibly the good graces of folks around here who can help you with your collecting. Especially if you're new here.
You obviously meant no harm in starting this thread but toybotstudios is right ... trying to tick people off will work, but not in your favor.
Otherwise, welcome to the board and enjoy it! Brian's/SB's Frankenghost is indeed a great figure and that "fading into oblivion" colorway is one of the best.

You have pretty much a 50-50 chance of being right if you take a stab at it, but I'll give you a little clue -- I have a wiener and nads.

The person you piss off today may tomorrow choose to ignore your PM on an insanely rare, very reasonably priced item you've been desperately looking for.
Its best not to shoot broadsides here but to each his or her own...

ok, everyone be nice to the n00b until he gets a better feeling for how the comunnity works.
being new around here sucks and we tend to take things fairly seriously so someone coming in might not understand that.
Dean, Collin thanks for your posts. spoken well.
Nicky, totally great that you are excited about all things Kaiju and Skuttles. I'm a huge fan of Skuttles myself.
just remember this is not KR...

actually never posted on the KR forums, after glancing at them and then discovering sb I could instantly tell ya'll was my kinda peeps. no rilly! And yes please excuse the dumb nube questions but at the same time take some pity and unwad your panties, we're a bunch of clearly mentally dysfunctional adult toy collectors after all, like anyone here can really afford a superiority complex! btw toybot I am digging your work and blog, thanks for the genuine coolness in your posts and tone since I've joined sb.

You realize that when the zombie invasion occurs 9mm ammo will by far be the most common type of bullet you can find, and also my "girlie" XD 9mm subcompact kicks butt and I can easily conceal it in a pocket. not that i'd do that prior to said zombie invasion, I am a man who follows The Law, but you know, when the invasion occurs it's no holds barred.

this is a valid point.....
but when facing a hoard of zombies, regardless how many 9mm bullets I have, I would still want something with a bit more kick....

You don't need more kick. You just need an accurate 9mm. Everyone knows to kill a zombie you have to either destroy the brain or remove the head.
