I get it! . . . the literal translation as opposed to the Michael Jackson interpretation!
I gotta admit the colour scheme blows chunks but the sculpt looks like it could be open to some cool interpretations . . . curious if this could be a 'Pumpkinhead' replacement or just a one off edition?

Props for trying a new sculpt, but just seems too heavy-handed for me.

This is my new madball mantis!! Just another sculpt I won't go after. I was thinking I'd get one just because, but after seeing this NO.
Okay I won't say never, but it would have to be a pretty damn great colorway.

You don't like the madball mantis!
wow, its one of my faves! For some reason I figured you would have gone for it, well besides those nasty grey/pink ones......
Just bought the blue bloodsplattered one of carl too. I really like the madball theme, even the obake dog head sculpt I like, and the zipface one is by far my favorite head sculpt of all the stuff, the body could use work, maybe just the hands actually, the fingers bother me on the obake dog bodys.
Have to agree though even though I really like sharks, this does look really heavy handed and almost misplaced on that beloved body sculpt.

The body is based on Snoopy. So that's why his it's that way. I like the idea of it, just not a fan of the madballs.

Anyone notice how much online press this fig is getting. Tons of toys blogs of course but even lifestyle blogs like hypebeast and such. Any guess why?

Didn't Mattel Mads do some street shark shit already? Or were they just selling the actual toys? Not that everyone can't do 90's toys but you'd think they could spread out a bit. I won't be picking up this fig but its good to see SB moving in new directions.

seems logical to do a Street Shark type toy. Definitely not that body though.

I would love to see a clear on clear version of this like the 12" Medicom x SB Sharkman.

Ugh. That's way too western/cartoony/street. No me gusta. What has happened to Secret Base? Are they gonna start making Disney characters in baggy clothes next?
