thanks for reminding me im still missing one of those guys . the capsule robo g is one you are missing . brian has a pic of it in the " star wars " super 7 magazine . he actually has 2 color versions . should really get off my ass and find the name of the small bad guy but lets just say he is very rare and very expensive and i have only seen him for sale once . trying to remember if a small robo capsule g was made into a missle fire version but im probably thinking of blazer from rockbat .

Yup, those are the ULTIMATE FINDS and you rule for your patience in getting them.

I can see so many JP people kicking themselves in the ass thinking microman was the "Thing" as a kids, and due to peer pressure not getting those "lame Astro-mu things".

Wasn't Astro-mu 5 Nakajima's answer to compete with henshin cyborg and Microman?

Really nice! Fantastic taste!

Thanks Paul...I got bit by the Astro-Mu 5 bug the 1st time I went into GR LA and the 1st S7 issue had just come in...all I bought was the Kaiju book with the Belzor on the cover and the 1st S7...which I believe states that these were indeed Nakajima's answer to the Micros /Cyborgs.

Paul... your paint skills are Rule and so does The Jesus and Mary Chain !!!LOL!!!

Okay, I'm not going to look in the vintage section if you guys are going to keep tempting me with all these amazing toys!

These are amazing, and look so great all together.

I heard not long back that there was a RED missile firing Capsule Robo G spotted? Anyone seen this? I'd also love to see the box it came in. It doesn't show up often, but every time I've seen it, it's been loose.

Only one red version has popped up, and I was outbid on it. Luckily it ended up in the hands of a close friend. It is rumored to only be a prototype, and not actually a production piece, but no one knows anything about it. I have never seen a box or bag for the missile fire. I do not know how it was originally sold.

yeah, i remember the red standard size missle fire capsule robo g . i thought i remember brian saying it went for $800 or so . lets see , would the person who won this go by the initials W.S ? the small removable mask vinyls are very cool and i was lucky enough that a board member sold me a couple . 2 others i managed to get on yahoo for around $50 each . most of the bad guys i got came with jumbo machinders . the most difficult piece to get if you have to have everything is the missle fire arm attachment that goes on the jumbo capsule robo g . this is by FAR the most insane arm attachment ever made for a jumbo . do a little digging on collection dx and nekro dave has a pic of it with his review of the capsule robo g jumbo . the missle fire arm is owned by mr W.S .

Had.No.Idea. Didn't even know these existed. They are so ...funky. My guess seeing your posts, your times on the board and your collections is that these are pretty rare. Were any of them released as mass toys back in their heyday?
Please excuse general Fresh Meat question...I'm just kind of in shock.

Nakajima Astro-Mu-5 was as far as I know produced in smaller #'s compared to what could be considered Mass-produced.

They have always been obscure to most ...even in Japan.

Much smaller fan-base than the 70's charactors that had Movies and long-run TV shows

Super7 #1 is the 1st and Best reference I have found and Flynn probably knows more about em than the rest of us combined.
