So the Garg bags are only 1 size, a $400 bag? That's different from prior years right? I'm crossing my fingers for some clear full sized Bakos, if not in the LB at least sometime in 08 now that we have the bodies for it!

Just a question... The Lucky Bag sets that are $400 per bag.

Is that 1 figure per bag? I've never scored a lucky bag before so I'm interested.

Oh no... typically, lucky bags are a mish mash of different figures of varying sizes... so you'd get like 2 standard sized figures, and maybe 3 minis...

That's not to say that the $400 gargamel bags will have that specific mix, but you'll definitely get more than a single figure for that much.

Hmm...I don't remember any sealed bags being sold by S7 last year. I remember I wanted one but all the bags were broken up and figures distributed.

Anyway, will the "distribution partner stores" physically have these items on the 1st or just be taking orders?

2008 Gargamel New Year's Lucky Bag

Seven figures total in each lucky bag. There may be painted, unpainted or even special hand-painted versions included randomly in each bag, but we're not saying what's in the bag (not even a hint!).
$400 per bag. Limit one per customer.

Gargamel presents 2008 Invisible Kaiju Pack

The 2008 Invisible Kaiju Pack contains mini figures by five of Japan's best Kaiju companies (Rumble Monsters, Charactics, Gargamel, Buster Call and Sunguts) in translucent colored vinyl with randomly inserted hand painted chase figures. Comes packed in a specially painted M1 Egg.
$240 per pack. Limit one per customer.

7 figures per bag and hand-paints. Oh no. Now the choosing becomes more difficult...

I hate to be the bad news messenger but the bags didn't show up from Japan until today. We got them shipped out to the store this afternoon but they might not make it to the stores in time. I would call on the 31st to make sure they have them.

Super7 will be putting ours bags up for sale online at 12pm (pacific time) Jan 1st.
if all goes according to plan the other stores will have them for sale at the same time.

I should be there around 1:30-2pm. See ya there.

Yeah, I'm hoping that they come in on time. I also hope that there are enough to go around, but just in case, I may get there a bit earlier.

Do you any of you know if Rotofugi is going to give out numbered tickets, like they did with Toy Karma?

Will there be smaller Gargamel Lucky bags at S7 (as in previous years)? Or is the bag that Roto is carrying the only size this year? ($400 = yikes!)

The store will be closed on January 1st. They will be available online.

the skulltoys x blobpus pairs are separate from the lucky bags. these will be sold as sets of two.

the blobpus lucky bags are completely random as to what is inside, and they will be sold as bags. so far, there are no plans to break them up. if that changes, we will let everyone know.
