Post Next Mook Wishlist (article suggestions) Updated
Well, well, well. That first Mook was pretty spiffy and seems to have pleased those of us who got 'em! Kudos to Brian and the crew for one great book.

As with anything publishing-related there's always a schedule, or at least an idea as to what will happen with the next issue / book. While this thread might be a moot point for the next mook (although I'm hoping not), maybe this would be a good way for all of us to throw in our two cen!ts on what we, as fans, readers and consumers, would like to learn more about!

The Group List (in no particular order):

1. CCP
2. Gargamel
3. PopSoda
4. M1
5. KaijuKen
6. Jumbos (the history)
7. X-Plus
8. Rainbow
9. A roundtable discussion between various company heads about the past, present and future of the vinyl market
10. Maybe kaiju profile? an in-depth article about, say, Garamon...
11. Chronic
12. Rumble Monsters
13. Skull Toys
14. Bemon
15. Smogun
16. Paul Kaiju
17. Medicom RAH (although there was their own book out last year...)
18. Dream Rocket
19. Anraku
20. Orange Toys
21. Blobpus (update)
22. Bounty Hunter
23. Exohead
24. Sunguts
25. Yokai
26. Bear Model

UPDATED 01/08/08
I'm adding in everyone else's suggestions to this list so that there's one ongoing list, but keep those suggestions coming!

So here's my list, feel free to add to it:

1. CCP
2. Gargamel

4. M1

7. X-Plus
8. Rainbow

Oh yeah, if this has already been brought up or appears someplace else then delete this thread :D

Loads of great suggestions here already.

How about:-

Cronic
Rumblemonsters?
In depth creature feature on Godzilla - right from his origins to his re-productions today (appearances in 80's cartoon shows with Godzuki optional!)

:D

Yeah, how about a great, in-depth article on Garamon?
Maybe S7 already has one...just, you know, lying around...

Actually, I did notice that little note in the back of the mook to the effect that the next edition, once it comes along, will focus on "Heroes"...

WOW, That'd be fucking killer! I was thinking Gargamel (duh) but also Exohead and Anraku (well, eventually.)

I'd be pumped about a Medicom RAH one though, there's so much to cover w/that, so many cool lines/figures.

How about Dream Rocket -- I know they're new skool, but I have been pretty impressed with what I've seen, and would be curious to know their back-story.

Would a "re-print" with Update of the toy sections from the Balzac Legacy Collection book be possible?

Agreed.

Also, I would love an article on Ark/Orange toys. I've picked up bits and pieces of the companies' history, but it would be great to have it in one place.

it would be cool if each issue offered a supplement section building on previous checklists...so when mook #2 comes out...giving a dozen or so pages over to updating the SB & RxH sections visually so everything is up to date as possible...

it wouldn't take too much space if they photos are kept small...

Is Blobpus featured in the MOOK? If not I can't believe no one has mentioned it. Blobpus gets my vote.

IE the dokugun list and new docross tlist hough would be nice to have them all together
also the update thing seems good as buy the time the next mook drop the amount of release could fill up a 100 pages

I vote for IKB stuff (Bemon, Smogon, Hedorans, gargamel versions, etc.). There might not be a ton of info but I love that stuff. I'd also like to see an M1go article, since I don't know much about them. I would expect Gargamel, the back of mook #1 says "from Ace to Zokki", does anyone but gargamel use that word?

Cronic, I'd say. His work was never written up in the Super7 magazine.

Also, Gargamel should definitely be a first balloter!

I'd like to see:

Cronic
BLObPUS
Anraku
Gargamel
Dream Rocket

Probably in that order. No mook yet so if something's been covered I wouldn't know.
