Least Favorite SB release of 2007
Got less overall suggestions for this section, which is a good thing. The noms above got a couple more votes than others.

Tiffany Brain would have been really nice if it was clear blue with some silver. It's just too flat for me. Although I don't think it is the worst, it is one SB figure I won't buy. I voted for the new Obake...mainly because of other design issues that are not easily seen. The others are just paint applications that can be easily fixed.

I gotta say Gatchaberts transluscent blue with silver and black detailing and maybe a clear brain covering and silver pipe inserts woulda been kinda stunning . . . in a nice subtle way!

Wow - I had forgotten about the drip "handpaints." As much as I didn't care for the Japan Spirits series, the drippy figs (for the most part) beat those out in terms of sheer disregard for anything resembling care or artistic vision. Unique or not, they just looked sloppy.
I really don't get the hate for the Tiffany brain - as LD said, the colors were perfect, and the whole concept was something you wouldn't normally expect from SB, which is (IMO) a good thing. Pushing the boundaries and all that. The only figure I've ever bought two of (one for me and one for my wife).

IMO Secret Base is putting out to many figures to fast. They should focus on quality not quantity. Oh and I don't like the new Obake, I think it ruined the classic look of the figure.

I ended up voting for (against!) the drippy figures and am kinda glad . . . the new Obake has grown on mesince it was introduced with the Halloween releases, particularly with the Whizz and UBIQ exclusives . . . I think the transluscent sheets help enormously.
I hear ya on tthe quantity though . . . feels like they're averaging around one a week since Christmas!

I voted against the japan Spirits. They just seem a bit rushed and unfinished to me.
