Count's collection always gives me wood. Not just because he displays my print in there nonchalantly but because the Madballs and zombie figures freakin RULE! (said in a thick NuYawk accent)

Speaking of killer toys from the good ol' days, did anyone have Tendril from Inhumanoids? I did, and man he ruled, I wonder where the hell he ran off to? Maybe my mom threw him away, or maybe I sold him at a tag sale. Damn. He was big, too, at least 18" tall.

Recent cheap pickups. The Universal monsters made from heavy solid plastic probably around mid 80s. The small rubber dudes from cleaning out my cousin's basement.

These are wonderful. Any further info., maybe stamped on the feet or back? They must've been made after the M.U.S.C.L.E. / Kinnikuman craze.

Aw man, I had tons of these guys too...exact sculpts. They came in a bunch of colors too...not sure if they were really a "branded" release or just a sort of generic party favor type thing? Anybody know?

I actually had a lot of cheap toys, but I threw them out for room for a guitar and a Wii and stuff like that.

 Re: Cheap Toys
mikeee wrote: This is a Revoltech figure named Danboard which, as u can see, is a little guy in a cardboard suit. Fairly articulated and the cool gimmick is the switch on the side of its box head that lights up the eyes. Stands around 13cm tall with overall great QC. It's one of those figures that u can actually play with and not worry about damaging the paint or smudging the gloss or depreciating its worth, blah blah blah... How much did this cost? Around $25, shipping included. Feel free to share your favorite !
in volume 5 of Yotsuba & they refer the robot as "Cardbo" and the kid inside is "Miura" but I like "Danboard" more, wonder if it was changed for the US? I need one of these to go with my Yotsuba fig!
