 Recommended Toy Shops in Osaka
Tokyo is sorted but not much info out there on Osaka. Saw someone post a while back about Osaka's equivalent to Mandrake. Can't find the post though.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm out there in early April.

Do you have the Tokyo Underground book? I think there's stuff in there.

Tokyo Underground doesn't cover Osaka, unfortunately. Here's the thread I started:

Both Mandarakes are definitely worth visiting, as well as Psychedelia. Around the Nanba Mandarake you will find a lot of cool stores on the same block.

Oh, yeah, hit that aquarium if that's your sort of thing. It shouldn't be as crowded as when I was there.

Isn't Astro Zombies in Osaka? Also I've been hearing big things about 3 tides tattoo. Featured recently in Juxtapoz and just about everything besides the SB.

Thanks Roger.
Cheers for posting your older link. It's been a great help.
Just looking into accom now. Namba looks good.
I heard the aquarium has a Whale Shark!

Not really a toy shop necessarily, but the Shocker (Balzac) store is in Osaka.

Yes they have a Whale Shark, its a young one about 10 feet long. Osaka is an awesome town to eat and get ripped.

The whale shark is definitely cool, as is their sunfish. First time I've seen either one in person.
