Post Does celga have a sniper bidder........
Man the last 3 auctions I wonon yja using celga I won but they just happen to end at my max bid. Come on. Three minutes to go at 5,550 then just jumps to 8,501! My max bid. Each time the person who bids up against me has a 1 feedback. Seems weird or maybe i;m paranoid.

Maybe celga gets a bigger percentage of your higher bid ? Let's ponder this one.

No that wouldn't benefit celga in any way seeing as how they charge the same fee for anything under 10,000 yen. They have always been very honest and I highly doubt they would be pulling that janky shit on you. Perhaps you should look at the seller and not the shipping service.

You could also check the detailed bidding history and see whether the same name happens to come up.

I'd have to agree with Frsh.nss though and would like to think Celga is a trustworthy group. This is their business afterall.

a sniper bidder benefits the seller, not the middleperson.

how many people is using celga's services besides people from this boards? there are hundreds of people bidding on stuff on a weekly basis.
if you think of it, with all this people, celga is getting enough to use a snipper to just try to get 10 bucks more.

Yeah I guess your all right about this, I was just really pissed off when this kept happening. I've had nothing but good friendly service from celga and i'm not trying to bash them. It just seemed weird.

If the middleperson gets a higher commission for an auction that ends higher, don't they benefit, too?

Same thing happened with me.

A person bid my max at the last moment..... Hmmmmm

This is my first time usuing celga so I dont know how the YJA thing works but I will watch more closely now.

So far celga has been cool so I hope this isnt true.

And I'm sure there a great company but I wouldnt put anything past anyone or company.

Greed will make people do funny things even for a few dollars.

yes, but celga adds just 10 bucks if the auction ends up at 10,000 or more. greg was complaining about "Three minutes to go at 5,550 then just jumps to 8,501! My max bid" so celga is not getting any benefit there since the commision is the same. They know how much is your max bid, right? so why they should do that if they are not getting 10 extra? people are just paranoid
