 Mass Effect makes Fox News...
It is pretty amazing that people can make statements without doing any kind of research. ESRB has tons of rules as to what rating you get when submitting and something as simple as having a cigar smoking midget can bump the rating up from an E to M or more.

EA calls out Fox:

It is even more amazing that both Microsoft and EA jumped in and pretty much told Fox News how inaccurate they are.

That "news" story was really insulting. It realy bothers me when just about any tv news station no matter how respectable decided to wreck and discuss a topic without any knowledge what so ever. The discussion that panel had was an utter mess.
I hope EA gets some sort or reply out the letter.

I don't understand how they're supposed to have a balanced discussion on a topic they know nothing about. Videogames don't make me violent, bullshit like this does.

remove respectable from that paragraph and you've nailed fox news on the head.
it's all about sensationalism

The mass effect...

as childish and immature as these actions are, you can't help but think that she had it coming to her.

This type of junk shows up on ALL news stations all the time. "Violent Video Games" type stories are good for a slow news day. I mean it's been going on forever. Mortal Kombat, Doom, Manhunt, GTA series just to name a few. None of us raised on MK go around knocking each other into pits. It's just like "slow day....hhmm let's do either cute animals or bad video games."
The media sucks, Fox, CNN, BBC whatever, they all suck, they all lie and they all have self-serving agendas. To me, all the same.

Corporate-owned media is more and more homogenous, but 'Fox News' is a pure oxymoron. A wholly-owned subsidiary of the GOP.

We should do this
I remember when the game titled "Bully" was released, and protesters were saying that it is a game similar to the Columbine shootings. News stations were running that story constantly, saying how these violent games should be banned
Those idiots never even saw the game (and never even bothered to read the description of it); they just saw the title and made their own stupid assumptions.
That game was about as violent as Pacman was...

HERE HERE!
That channel has to go! On Hannity today He did a story ( a dead serious story) about the danger of demons. Fucking demons!? He had an "expert" talking about how a Ouiji boARD can let a demon pretending to be your grandma possess your body. This is considered news on this channel.

This shit is SO bogus. Look at Japan, nobody is rocking more video games, and those kids are as so non violent they make Ghandi look like Tyson. I would love to put an eye on this research that these fuckers say they have done on video games and violent kids! Fucking RETARDED!
I wonder if Roman parents got all fucking zany over the gladitorial games poisoning their kids minds.
