 How Many DOKUWASHI Versions?
How many different versions of the DOKUWASI figure are out there? Is there a link somewhere already on the MB I can check out? Thanks

Weren't they having some issues with the production of this figure? I recall reading something about it - problems with the mold, or with the parts not fitting right after they were cast...
Anyway, I love the sculpt too. I also vote for a clear one to match the translucent minis from the line.
Oh, and while we're at it - I wouldn't mind solid-colored versions of bump and the cowboy guy (forgot his name - six shooter?) to match the lucky bag set.

I know there were some minor sculpt changes between the black protos and the later ones, but I hadn't heard about any problems that weren't resolved by those changes.
I admit it -- One of my favorite things about this sculpt is the creepy little-bitty feet underneath.

Ghosts don't have guts, do they? I vote for clear with guts, anyway.

The protos are a little bit taller than productions.

I asked if new Dokuwashis were coming out ever in December. Josh in the store said it shouldn't be too long. he kept it secretive, yet hinted within the year. I'm sometimes amazed at how many releases S7 does considering all the time it takes to design/manufacture these things. work ethic keeps the release schedule going, probably. i need me some of that juice. anyway, looking forward to new Dokuwashis. Clear sounds cool, but I'd like some new paint apps. hopefully they won't all have the same "sugar skull" lines as the customs and SDCC. I like that design, but new is good.

Cool that this turned into a nice little discussion rather than just a Q&A, thanks.
The black proto's are beautiful looking. Almost like the black depression glass of back when... very clean looking

the way the doku is put together I don't think a clear version would look very good because you could see all the joints. Take one apart and you will see what I mean.
Visighost would be a great t-shirt. I will talk to Flynn about it.
