I just wanted to thank everyone for their patience. I've been nursing bronchitis and the flu for the last week. Sorry for the wait but I'm still waiting myself. The figures should be arriving next month (Feb) sometime so I'll keep everyone posted as I get further word. The paintings are coming along better than I had suspected. New technique;)
I just wanted to add also that since everyone has been so patient, I will give everyone a choice if they want blood or not on the figures. I mean, these are your figures so I just want everyone to be happy. Thanks, Joel.

I say screw choices, you should do half and half and blind bag em. Maybe someone will get 1 bloody Evil 1 non Bloody Mutant, or both bloody or neither bloody. I'm a fan of surprises. Plus it'll drive some folks nuts to get 2 bloody and 2 non on an already limited set.

hmmmm...strange turn of events .....kinda blurs the run and makes the Bloods seem more like Customs.....and the no Bloods Official ......IMO giving us that choice dilutes the release/set .

Again IMO at only 20 pieces ...it should be one way or the other...

An official RXH release should not be able to be had this way or that way

It just doesn't feel like a LS x RXH set if he DOESN'T paint them to me.

I say no choice or blind bag still. Blind bags are fun, and you can get anything and in the end it's still a killer set.

Pre-fight (unpainted) Post Fight (both bloody) Evil Strikes first (bloody mutant, non bloody evil) or Mutant strikes first (bloody evil, non bloody mutant.)

But, I guess a relevant question in deciding on the set's desired health status is - Do we know that Mori will be releasing the same figures/paints (uninjured) as a regular release later on, or is that just a presumption?

(Or ... do we even still assume that he will do so at all? IIRC, that assumption was made before we saw the Junkspot 23.12 Head/Evil test shots. It seems somewhat unlikely that Mori would release both the LS paints and the 23.12 Head/Evil paints as regular releases, given their similarity.)

Well the original intention of the set was blood so if Lamour's feeling like doing the blood I'd likely go that route.

On the other hand if he's not into doing the blood at this point I'd likely go with whatever he feels is best aesthetically for the project.

Still undecided mainly because I'm wondering which version Joel's more enthusiastic about.

The figures are only a PART of the LS release. Last I checked, for this release there is a set of RxH figures, sweet ass plexi print and superb T-shirt.... THREE very cool items make up this release....the plexi print is going to be 100% Lamour Supreme art, blood included in the hand painted print. That's enuff blood for me!

I'll probably get slammed for this but its an official collaboration between Mori and Joel that envisioned bloody figures.

It seemed like the idea for the Lamour x RxH x MM set was blood to commemorate the epic battle between Mutant Evil and Mutant Head.

I know there are folks who wouldn't want my set but its not getting traded or sold anyway and the non bloody will be that much rarer.

I suspect Mori's set will be bloody though (just a guess).

I want the Lamour x RxH collaboration as intended as long as Joel's into doing the blood.

Feel free to flame me but I'm not substituting my vision for their's on something as cool as this.

If Lamour's feeling it I'm giving him free reign on my set.
