Post Taschen "Slightly Used" Book Sale
I found this via one of my favorite new "print" blogs: Printfetish

"OMG! So, tons of slightly damaged and display books are on sale (50-75% off) for 3 days only at the TASCHEN Store in New York. It's January 18 - 20 so you have some time to horde away a bit of your paycheck. Friday, Saturday 11:00 am to 8:00 pm; Sunday 12:00 to 7:00 pm. TASCHEN Store 107 Greene Street, NY 10012 212-226 2212"

Lol!
Thats Bob Wilkins, San Fran's local Chiller Diller host and the man that brought Ultraman, Spectreman, Space Giants, and Space Cruiser Yamato to the SF Bay Area (If you don't already know)

i happened to be in NYC over new year's and stumbled across Powerhouse Books in DUMBO (another great boutique publisher) and they were having an amazing sale. Many new, sealed hardcover photography and art books (some on punk, music, hip hop culture, etc.) on sale for $5 and $10.00 each. Lots of RE/Search stuff too - the sales clerk said they do this kind of sale twice a year. i bought like 40 lbs. of books - check it out next time they have a sale if you didn't already know about it.
