Oh, it's one of the sarcophagus that all the Micro Command series figures came in... the images are of different scales, so the figure fits inside the cases.

I think the different case designs were the Sphinx, an Easter Island statue, the Jomon Dogu, and (drumroll) the Statue of Liberty (for the female Lady Command).

Really cool, I love the Doguu-as-alien illustrations! Those are the best pictures I've seen of the figure. Looks like it's shiny black ... yes!
