That is Bemlar, an Ultra-kaiju figure. Probably the Marusan edition, but the Bullmark edition looks very similar.

Wow, I've got to say I'm impressed overall with the Mook.
I actually spent an hour reading through it.
I have a short attention span so this is an amazing feat.
Was wondering if people can tell me on PP94, what the figure second from the left is.

Thanks Brian.
That's what I figured.

Mine was sent to a US address (US Navy). So that probably won't help you.
Besides I still had two issues of my subscription so I'm not sure what S7 charges for shipping it.

OK, a little late but gimme a break, I just got my Mook last week.

WOW. What an awesome fucking piece of work. The articles were awesome, the ones I've read so far, and great pics of course. I'm mainly a RxH guy, and that's what I seemed to care LEAST about somehow.

I was way more interested in the Astro Mu and SB even. Maybe cause I have so much RxH I feel less drawn to the pictures? I dunno. I kinda wanna get some more SB now, shit!

It's the most fun I've had looking at some sort of printed material in a long time. Also seeing pictures and reading interviews w/some board regulars was cool too.

ok so after waiting for my mook for 3 weeks after sub shipment i decided it was time to investigate. Super7 said it got here, and I dident have it. Turns out my doormen at the building i live in managed to loose it (or at least were assuming this is what happened since no one in my household ever had it) getting it from the 1st to 16th floor...GREAT. Anyway I want to thank Karen for being so nice on the phone with me and offering a new one if it did turn out to be their fault (which it wasnt so I paied for a new one)
Got my replacement today, its simply stunning. I dont consider myself down an extra 40 dollars at all. way more than that actually since now I know the names and colorways of so many toys I want so badly.

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHS SUPER7

I would have to say about 1/3 vintage 2/3 new? Between the Toho Kaiju article (Bullmarks and Marusan), Bullmark header card article, and the Astro-Mu 5 article, that's about a third.

I love the vintage x current balance. I'm not gonna be some poser, I don't know a lot about the vintage goods, so the more I'm exposed to the happier! It also makes me appreciate the modern a lot more.

Just got my mook, and I am going to be drinking deeply of it in the following days, but the presentation is simply amazing. Green Arrow Graffiti, Gangu Jinsei, the Shono books, none of them approaches the bar that the Hybrid crew set with this in terms of "presence." I am very impressed.

Did you know that those issues of Uchuusen with me in them are worth less than the others? ;p

More mookness: the cover is done up like the Hawaii Bullmark Godzilla, and the smell is heavenly.

I've gotten into the habit of pulling it out of the slipcase and quickly pushing it back in to get a "mook breeze".

I didn't even realize S7 had mooks for individual sale and I ordered mine off of Amazon (I would have ordered it from S7). What a nightmare it was at first. The seller was not amazon and after waiting a month they finally gave me my money back as it was obviously never shipped out. Of course they said keep it when it arrives but I know it never will. Amazon did eventually ship out a copy to me and I should get it this week.

I'm curious, is there much in the way of M1, Marmit, KaijuKen, Shikaruna Koubo, Gargamel in it? these are by far an away my favorite kaiju companies. I'd love to see spreads of these toys. If not I'm totally sending pics to Flynn for the next mook.

Chris

Subscriber was black on black, regular was gold on black.

Guess they really ran out.

Can someone post a pic of their subber mook?

I didn't get a shirt... :?

Is the subscriber version supposed to be different on each mook release, or was that just on the first one?

I know im late- just got my Mook today ( you have to order tactically if your an international customer so you get the best value for money on the postage costs!)

It is absolutly amazing! beautifully designed and printed.

After the initial buzz- the comedown and the realisiation that there is so much stuff in there that I will never own was hard!

However I was soon happy again and feeling optomistic with my free T-Shirt!

Thanks guys. :D

I'm feeling the exact same way for purchasing the subscriber version except I didn't get a shirt to make up for it, just a Super7 sticker which I already have at least 10 of anyway...

:(
