Andy, damn impressive as usual! I'll have to say that the Zyurai sculpt looks even better when all grouped together in 20+ mob mode. One day I hope to see an entire Cronic collection shot all at once, should make for an interesting pic

sweeeet. love the way his red pinstriping sort of bleeds into the vinyl. it's the same on my GID zyurai pinstripe. anybody know if this is intentional or if the paint is actually seeping into the vinyl? either way it's a killer effect...was this released along with the white Bakurasu pinstripe?

In terms of a whole collection shoot, there are plans for the upcoming Wall of Cronic, including figures, box art, drawings, and more, to make its way into print.

Hah hah awesome. I bet Naoki would dig that.
He hasn't put out any pinstripes for a while. His painting went through a "spot color" phase in recent months, but he's also mixed it up with new handpaints, combination techniques (like the DM and S7 Mav) and the more recent Christmas Zyurai Asu, which is his first time mixing little grains in the paint. (I think there's a technical term for that one, but I can't remember it.) Another thing about the Christmas Asu is it has a pretty pungent odor, so I wonder what kind of paint he used on it!
