Ouch Muton, those are some nasty pieces to be missing haha. Even though I don't have it all, most of the other stuff seems pretty easy to find or at least you see it from time to time. I think I've only seen the mail aways up once on Yahoo JP. Do you also have the Passguard stuff as well? I think for them there is the following:

Rumina Borg
Rumina Sato
Machroid
Ruminaborg outfit 1
Ruminaborg outfit 2 (could be more of these or one for Mach as well. I'm not sure though)
Rumina Borg Bearbrick
Machroid Bearbrick

at SDCC 06 Medicom showed a Microbatta scale Rumina Borg as well as Repro colorway Microbatta and all clear smoke Skullhead Microbatta. Sadly these haven't been released though.

Another ACE list:

Missing:

Rumina Sato
Ruminaborg outfit 1
Ruminaborg outfit 2 (could be more of these or one for Mach as well. I'm not sure though)

In fact, not even sure what the outfits look like.

Rumina Sato is a Fila Tracksuited Medicom 12" RAH figure, with a regular opaque pink skinned body and bleach blond hair. Never really dug it enuf to chase it - I prefer my 12" figures to be clear.

Missing from your list:
Promo/Give-away Mach Roid red painted GID outer Bear head.

there is probably a corresponding one for Rumina Borg as well. Paging Guy Redwing for the low down on that one!

And while u r at it, I guess we have to include both versions of Cyclovillain and Sharkman, as they are enemies of Rumina Borg, right?

Rumina Borg is based on the real life Shooto fighter Rumina Sato. Medicom produced a human version (flesh colored not clear plastic) wearing a Fila tracksuit and sneakers. The pic from Art of Toys is here:

I thought Rumina Borg and Mach Roid were stand alone (when they do stand )?
Maybe I haven't looked at my Cyclo and Sharkman close enough, but they seem very different design wise. Got me curious now.

Any pics of those Microbatta protos that never got released? Someone mentioned a S7 version in another thread which Brian said had been canned maybe?

I'm at work, not that I could climb teh heap and check anyway, but I thought that those guys were enemies of Rumina Borg as well as Mach Roid. The clear versions have the clear skull head joe inner head, so they are cocobat related. And so does teh clear phantom 8 man as well. The opaque ones have those human heads, who are modelled on someone I think...damn, can't recall.

Totally unrelated, but in my mind good companions/enemies for dsiplay purposes, are the two Medicom Mad Capsule Markets guys, the Black Cyborne and the other white dude.

For some reason, talk of these toys make me really excited. I remember first discovering them and tracking down all teh versions of Cocobat a few years ago. Good times.

Well the all clear Cyclo, Sharkman and Phantom 8 are the Secret Base versions of those releases. I guess Hiddy mixed and matched parts there for that release? I still need the all clear Phantom 8. I have the full colour one but his leg is busted (so he could be related to Rumina and Mach Roid for sure  )

This stuff is really where my collection is going and is at it's happiest! Henshin bikes, suits from all places, visible guts and arm attachments. Got to love arm attachments!

Whats the Cyborne you're talking of Muton?

Yeah, arm attachments rule! That and clear vinyl with internal organs!

Black Cyborne is a computer generated character used in Mad Capsule Market videos. The dude on this page is teh White Crusher, and was also released as a micro batta style set complete with bike: http://www.themadcapsulemarkets.com/

You can see both characters in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMnLIJSY1vY

and u can see lots of teh toys here: http://toyhaven.blogspot.com/2007/09/ma ... -2004.html

MCM have apparently been on hiatus since 2006.

Yes you're right on the Cyclovillian and Sharkman as well. Then the clear versions of those and the mail promo heads ... I don't have any of those, so I'll count on you for that list Muton haha. Aren't the other Retro Heroes/Villians also related even though they're known characters?

The Rumina outfits that I have seen both have tshirts, one has shorts, and the other I think pants and both had some extra stuff in them, possibly sneakers etc. i'll have to find the pics I have of them buried somewhere.

I have Rumina Borg's Paperwork handy believe it or not and it says:

"He is a man of fighting, and always wins.
Now, Cocobat Joe, ex-his fellow, ex-his rival, faces him.
Also, Cocobat Joe is one of the man who never beaten.
However, there can be only one man!
Here is Rumina-Borg, who fights for only his own victory."

The Machroid advance postcard says:

"Machroid
Just Arrive Rumina-Borg Posse!!"

pics of the Microbatta unreleased, as a matter of fact I do:

Image

I really hope those come out. Although Cocobat Joe collectors are used to long waits paying off. Although the Microbatta sets were released in 2003 many of us had been waiting since 1999 for it to happen. Originally it was slated to be a head and chest replacement kit for an M10X Microman Body, but to the best of my knowledge this prototype on the post card was as far as that version got, until Medicom finally released theirs:

Don't forget Timanics while we're at it!

That would be awesome if they did. If they put out all of this stuff, there should be a mini Machroid as well.

Then I stepped up and bought that ol' busted Rumina from the Fig Belly. Couldn't fix the foot, but in the wolf boots thats no problem. The non standing thing is a problem with them all right out the box I think, but got this one to stand ok by putting a spare clip from a 12" stand around his waist. No pole, just the clip. Seems to keep him up right well enough.
