I had no idea what you were talking about (I don't have television), so I checked on Rotten Tomatoes. It has a rating of 3% fresh. At the bottom of the page with all the multi-sentence teaser-quotes from the critics, there's one that simply says, "I'm moving to Europe."

My job made me see "Epic Movie" last year on some outing, knowing this is the same thing I'll pass. I love parody movies, but I'll stick with Airplane and Mel Brooks movies.

stuff like Airplane, etc had a certain level of inventiveness to them. The new breed of 'something-something movie' are just terrible. If I want funny, snarky jabs at movies, I'll pop in some MST3K. Not exactly the same, but better IMO.

let me remind you all that this is barely even about a movie. from the trailer only, i leaarned that there is
1. a fucking BRITTNEY joke
2. a fucking Sanjaya Joke!
3. a fucking Ghost Rider Joke.
What year is it?
if you are dumb enough to see this movie, you are probably dumb enough to send me $12 for nothing too, i accept paypal.
and scott, i'm sorry.

dude, the really sad thing is that this movie made like millions more than Rambo last weekend.
really America?! really? you'd rather watch that fat guy from Borat participate in lame Transformers parodies than watch Sylvester Stallone fucking kill everyone?
lame

even worse is this new Larry the Cable Guy movie that's coming out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQ452ni1-2c
seriously, watch this trailer and then tell me you don't want to fucking cut your own head off to save yourself
it honestly brings me great physical pain to watch. it looks worse than Delta Farce, if that's even possible
I wish that his career would git r done

That is the best marketing strategy ever.
Make a crap low budget movie rated pg-13, release it simultaneously with an R-rated "blockbuster" and BLAM! in the black for making crap.

OK, I just got back from MTS, and I have to say I loved it, was very fresh and original and quite hilarious on many levels. There was an element of sophistication to the humor present that I wasn't expecting.
OK that's actually all bullshit, I didn't see it, I'm sure it sucks, the makers of this movie can rot in hell. heh

It's sad when "dumb" movies are even too dumb for "dumb" movies.
I say if someone's willing to go see that crap they don't deserve to see good movies, and I snobishly raise my nose, lift my chin and show them my neck beard in distaste as I walk to my 97 Saturn wagon to talk shit.
