2/4 just popped up on YJA as well. Nice figure.
I count a ton of new Ankorons and Nougakis populating the lucky bags.
Just noticed another thing - the green body/black head Nougaki would go really nicely with the original Nerd One/Cronic Nougaki!

again, if ANYONE has any nougakis to spare from their LBs I'd be so thankful if I could be on their contact list...
I'm really hoping I can score some of these nougakis...praying...

OK, so far, from the stuff that's popped up, I count this variety:
- 5 different Nougaki
- 7 Ankoron (including 2 different specials)
- 2 Mav
- 3 Zyurai
- 1 Bakurasu
- 3 Dorome
- 3 Dorogami
There are probably a few more that haven't seen the light of day, so that's a whopping 25-30 DIFFERENT designs in the '08 LBs. One for the record books!

Ah hah, I just noticed on the card for the Secret Z bag Mav that has shown up, it says it is the "secret type 2" meaning there is another secret Mav out there in the Z bags.
I think we may need a statistician to figure out just how many different figures we're looking at. If anyone wants to give it a go, have at it! ^_^

Was hoping there would be two fight figures in the $380 lucky bags since I don't like the smaller figures at all. The paint schemes are great but the sculpts do nothing for me.
I really shouldn't have bought a standard Mav off YJA since if I get that in the large lucky bag then it looks like it'll be a total wash out on the large bag (unless they're different from the YJA ones).

From what I've heard they are different.

That would rock.
Actually I just looked at YJA yet again and the smaller figure's paint schemes are so gorgeous maybe they'll win me over on those sculpts anyway.

Speaking from experience, I saw Ankoron in a whole new light after holding one. Pics don't do the sculpt justice.

It seems that all SECRET VERSIONS are numbered on the back of the card.
at least, 2 out of the 3 ANKORON Secret versions are numbrd on the back of the card (#/4,#/5)....maybe it´s the same with all SECRET VERSIONS ? Hard to tell.....

I've heard there are at least 5 different Doromes, and I've gone through the fig pics a bit more. Looks like for every bag that contains a secret figure of a certain character, there are two different secret types of that figure in that particular bag type, leading to (maybe) something like:
- 9 different Nougaki (1 regular in X,Y,Z; 2 secrets in X, Y, Z)
- 9 Ankoron (1 regular in X,Y,Z; 2 secrets in X, Y, Z)
- 3 Mav (1 regular in Z; 2 secrets in Z)
- 3 Zyurai (1 regular in Y; 2 secrets in Y)
- 1 Bakurasu (1 regular in Y)
- 5 Dorome (1 regular in X, Y, Z; 2 secrets in X)
- 4 Dorogami (1 regular in Y, Z; 2 secrets in Z)
Mind you, I haven't seen photos of all of these. Just going by what should (I guess) be out there based on the cards in the bags.
Count so far: 34 different figures!
OK, I'm going to sleep!

Madness, I tells you!
Nonetheless, I'll be happy as long as our bags come with one of those beautiful prints.

what colors are the Mavs? any pics?
I've only seen Doromes, Nougakis, Dorogamis, Ankorons and the Bak so far...

That's what I'm most interested in as well. Can't wait to see pictures of the mavs and zyurai's. I love the other figures the most, but I am excited to see the new sculpts in person.
Thanks andy for the breakdown and info, I love stats like these.

Very interesting...
MTC Store had an extra "C" up for grabs, and Mark says that "this is different from what was offered in Japan."

YES! Also, for anyone that collects nougaki or Dorogamis and not Doromes I am willing to trade whatever I get in my bag for whatever you get. Lemme know.

I guess I can throw being a Nougaki completist out the window with 9 new ones just in the Japan bags alone...
I'm in the market for USA LB Nougakis as well, just to put the word out...doromes too, but Nougakis first and foremost...

Yah I'm pretty glad Naoki did it this way actually. I know now for a fact that I'll never be able to have the complete Dorome set and it's a real load off my back. Too bad the sprays on these guys are so beautiful that I'll end up trying to track them all down anyway.

For some reason I dig the Ankoron - cute - so if anyone wants to get rid of some extra's to a non-Cronic head, hit me up!

That's right!
And now we see there was a secret Mav in a Y bag....
It will be interesting to see what the breakdowns are in the Max Toy bags.
Well, soon enough, we'll know if I was right about the situation with the secrets. It could be that "type 1" and "type 2" were randomly assigned...actually I don't think that's the case, since I have seen pics of both Y bag Ankoron secrets types.
Much fun and mystery lies ahead! ^_^
Here's the very unscientific breakdown so far!
- 9 different Nougaki (1 regular in X,Y,Z; 2 secrets in X, Y, Z)
- 9 Ankoron (1 regular in X,Y,Z; 2 secrets in X, Y, Z)
- 5 Mav (1 regular in Z; 2 secrets in Y, Z)
- 4 Zyurai (1 regular in X, Y; 2 secrets in Y)
- 1 Bakurasu (1 regular in Y)
- 5 Dorome (1 regular in X, Y, Z; 2 secrets in X)
- 4 Dorogami (1 regular in Y, Z; 2 secrets in Z)
Very non-scientific and highly speculative running total: 37
Number of unique figures that I have seen actual photographs of: 24
