about tygon. see it depends if you think that yahoo japan is your only reference of price.i think that sometimes thing go for below the going rate on auction sometimes they go for way too much . you have to take into account what it sells for in a shop in japan also.im sure you bought something and it went for less on yahoo japan.and sometimes you won an item for nothing and next time it went through the roof.as for the scarce status of red versus bullmark. i think that there are about the same numbers out there.just people have gotten a hard on for the word bullmark. and dont understand the manufacturer status of the red tygon. anyway i think the red is the shizzle and think the green is blah.its about 1500 to 1800 in any shop in tokyo.

Are you saying that you have scene a bullmark taigon in a shop in japan for 1500 to 1800? You should have bought. I really doubt that you did. I have scene red ones for under a 1k in shops too. The one shop i knew that had a green for sale, sold it for about 7000 before it hit the shelves and the other would not sell it. Someone on the list that posted picks on this list earlier had one for sale and is selling to a big collector in Japan for a lot of cash. I have scene tons of red ones over the years and barely any green ones. Probably about a 10 to 1 ratio. I agrees the paint job of the red one is better. People do prefer the Bullmark since it is not a reissue. You can save some cash and by the yamanaya version and have severl colors to choose from. They are all reissues, only the Bullmark is the original.
Side note: Good to see you back in the vinyl world. Nice picts.

im saying ive seen the red for 1800 and got the green for 3000. it depends who your dealing with.and what your saying is availability = total number . what im saying is desirability = price. not pieces that exist.

While we're on the subject, do the first-version Garamons have a separate tail, or is it molded into the body?

This is the 4th. The 2nd was a dark green vinyl and the 3rd was red, I wont even start on the 1st as no one here will probably ever have it. And forget about the Hawaii version and some of the other variations.
