Post K-T is stealing your wallet next weekend.
Apparently, once Super7 has been your valentine, K-T wants to have its way with you as well...

3 new Ilanena sets (you already know about these) AND 3 new Dream Rocket Marnons.

They all look like they were painted on clear base vinyl. Ugh. My wallet.

and this crazy-ass black one. The missing eye is disgusting... I love it.

I love much of the Dream Rocket stuff but this sculpt just doesn't do it for me. Shame, as the Blueberry version is quite nice.

However, as much as the Ilanena set is rapidly reaching colorway overkill, the clear set is the nicest since the original GID (which I'm still searching in vain for). I may actually have to try for those.

ALl these toys hitting at once drives me either to
a. get a second job
b. open shop and be ANOTHER toy seller
c. start doing my own toys

I like all of them, the blueberry is crazy, the clear would be fun to fill or paint and I bet the blackberry would look sharper in real life

You have to wonder, why all 3 at once? Really, release a new one every month and a lot of people would be able to get em all, or the ones they want.

I just noticed, on these guys the tongue and back are different from the first two released. Its also the ONLY point of articulation on the toy

i don't really care about articulation. obviously the tongue is different on these but the back looks exactly the same to me (excluding the eye)?

I would have gone for the original sculpt in clear or a coloured clear.
Not sure why they messed this up.

That is so clear, when did dream rocket get the predators invisibility technology. Cool seeing them busting out new colorways in these.

I'm still undecided on which of the two colored versions I prefer. The blue seems like it will work better with the clear vinyl, but the back design on the black version has a lot of character and the black spray on clear seems like it may have potential in-hand. The clear version intrigues me simply because Dream Rocket has not, in my memory, released a fully clear version of anything in the past.

I am glad that DR shortened the tongue design. Although the tail does take up shelf room, the tongue is the real space-hog on the original sculpt.

I just wish they weren't 5500 each- that's almost the price point for a larger DR sculpt.

For those of you waiting for more glowy stuff from DR, you may be in luck soon...

hehehe   toybot coined a new term,,i like,,,the real estate of a figure does play a key role in my buying decisions these days...

just chop off this one's tongue and tail,,and you have a decently proportionate figure...

to be honest,,the tongue is what is turned me off this one from the first version..

the tongue/eyeball combo really kills it for me now...too bad,,i like the blue colourway
