Post Gigabrain Jet Jaguar figs
I was hoping someone could help me out...I'm trying to figure out all the JJ editions that Gigabrain has done. Here's what I know so far:

Clear
GID
Purple/Black
Black/Gold spray
Regular colors with silver head and gold eyes
Regular colors with silver boy and black eyes?
Regular colors with gray body and black eyes?

The ones I'm confused about are, oddly, the last two regular colorways. Does anyone know if Gigabrain did both a grey version and a silver version?

When I look at an image like this, I think, okay, that's looks gray:

But then I see images like this (borrowed from and think that it's a different, silver figure:

Are they all the same gray/silver figure, or two different ones? I realize the second and third photos have been manipulated in PS, but still can't tell if it's a different figure.

Thanks.

Oh, and for proper credit I borrowed the second and third JJ images from here:

Some others:

Metallic green
Black w/ green splatter (RxH x Gigabrain secret version)
Evangelion Unit 1 homage colors (purple/black/green/yellow)
RX-78-2 Gundam homage colors (white/blue/red/yellow)

I think there's two more at the next Wonderfestival- fire and medical rescue colors (i.e., solid red and white).

Sorry, don't know the answer to your question on the photos. You should just contact geo directly and ask.

There's also a metallic green version, and a white "Gundam" version (the purple/black is the "Eva" version).

As I recall, there were actually two GID versions...one with the normal color and one with the red and blue inverted. Never got either--just couldn't dig the sculpt.

That's right, there were two glow variations.

Blasphemer!

I think it's the best JJ to date.

Plus, I love all the articulation.

Hey, I call 'em like I see 'em! I got lots of love for JJ, but when it comes to "more realistic" sculpts, I definitely prefer the Billiken Shokai.

...Of course, fuck realism--I prefer the original Bullmark (and some of the old-school style Marmits) over Gigabrain's or Billiken's.

I'm a sucker for the M1 painted Lucky Bag JJ. Fugly flesh back and all.

And of course, the new S7/M1 version.

Usually I hate JJ figures in weird colors, but the S7 JJ is too much fun to pass up.

OK, it appears that with my vote, the results are now 50/50.

I've always thought that the Gigabrain Jet Jag sculpt, with the puffy-shirt arm bands and "Flashdance" leggings looked like a cross between the real "Jeto Jaggger" and the Michelin Man!!

But then again, it may be that I am somewhat biased!!

Everyone-

Thanks for the responses. Here's the summary list that I think includes all of them:

Regular colorway (which is pictured in Geotaro's photos in the first post)
Regular colorway with silver head/ gold eyes
Clear (might be my favorite)
GID with standard colors (red chest)
GID Blue Spray show exclusive (blue chest)
Metallic green with gold eyes
Black with green splatter, red eyes (RxH x Gigabrain secret version)
Black with gold splatter, red eyes
Purple Eva version (purple, black, green, yellow)
White Gundam version (white, blue, red, yellow)

Not sure which were exclusives for what shows, but I think that's all of them. If there's any interest, I can do some digging around online and try to post images of each one.

I agree that Gigabrain exaggerated that in the sculpt, but it's not like the M-1 figures ignored it, either.

Those are really nice customs, by the way. I'm not a huge fan of the M-1 sculpts, but I sure like them a lot better after you've done your thing. I might have to get an extra Gigabrain figure and send it to you... :)
