 Dream Rocket Gabari GID Version
DR delivering as usual. Correct me if I'm wrong but this will be available at the upcoming Wonder Festival and limited to 50 pieces only. This looks soooooooo amazing.

HOLY CRAP!
I've done everything I can do to limit my Dream Rocket collection to a select few figs, but now it looks like I'll be adding Gabari to the roster. This guy would look great next to the Gazura King/Queen. Super nice.

Gaaaah... it looks even better in that photo.
Yes, your info is correct, mikeee. It's going to be sold by Inazuma-Go, rather than Dream Rocket (I wonder if they are not attending the show).

The fact that this is a GID figure is enough to peak my interest, but the paint on the head of this Gabari is incredible! Dream Rocket is knocking it out of the park lately!

It is GID, it is!
I love this sculpt, and have never understood why it wasn't more popular before now - the paints before this Glow Gabari were also good. Looks like this GID one may not be encased in clear vinyl - the last two were, and they distinctly have that jewel-like DR quality about them. Be aware that, while these are roughly standard height, with the bulky stinger they are quite large in terms of shelf real estate required. The last two are also noticeably heavy (presumably from the combination of large sculpt & cased vinyl).
This may be only the fourth DR Gabari. There are two earlier paints and I've seen only one (yellow) unpaint, so it should be comparatively easy to get caught up. The first two paints have popped up FS here occasionally at crazy-cheap prices.

Yep, this is the 4th one by my count. There was the original grey, and MTC released both painted and unpainted clear glitter yellow Gabaris last fall.
This is definitely one of my heaviest pieces. I was just thinking about that last weekend when I was moving the MTC Gabari around my shelves. The vinyl seems really thick.
There is always room for one more at my house, however...

As far as I can tell, most of the DR stuff takes up a bit of shelf space...long tails look cool, but leave a big "footprint"....not that I'm complaining!! these guys are quality all the way!

I think this GID release would pair up really well with Max Toy's painted clear glitter yellow version. The quality of DR's vinyl is no less than superb.

I'm not paying that price for it. Maybe it will be super rare and I'll regret it later, but that was too damn much.

I hesitate to ask, because I may end up paying it... but how much?

12,000 yen was the KT pre-order price.

Fie on them. DR has always struck me as being high quality and reasonably priced. 12,000 stings a little.

To be fair, K-T probably does not have a direct line to DR for this one, if it is being sold through Inazuma-Go. He probably has to go down to the show to pick it up. But that's almost double JP retail, so no-go for me.

Weird - After being on their pre-order email list for many months, I suddenly dropped off too, some months back. I've written them a couple of times asking to be put back on, and buy from them regularly, but no success yet.
