Have the stores collect names (i dunno licenses)
Stores draw winners
Hold the S7 lottery after the store lotteries.
Compare S7 lottery winners to store lists
If match up, dump the winner and pick again
whatever I give up

were you in my staff meeting today?
This is my idea. Get a group pic of everyone at the lottery at each store. If I ask for volunteers to take pics and talk to Kirby, Lev, and Luke this should be easy to do. I would love to see regional pics of sb members. Our community is small enough to police it from there.
What do you think? (dress nice on Saturday)

Except each store's entries will be received over the course of the day Saturday, all the entrants won't be there together at one time to be photographed ... Presumably one 'need not be present to win' at the drawings.

Ballot paper where you put name and addy and someone takes a photo. Chaos can then be mailed to said person.

How about keeping a list at each store? Buy a figure, write your full name next to it. (The truly paranoid at heart can require a driver's license as proof ) Each store sends their list to S7. Names from web sales are matched against the master list to make sure there's no hanky panky.
Hell, either that or do what S7 did in 2006 for SDCC. Create a sign up list on this site. Your name on the list makes you eligible to participate in the lotteries. Buy a figure, and your name is crossed off the list. That would also ensure that most figures go to the most hardcore collectors.
Hey I just had a thought - how about a special lottery just for Fan Club members?

i only jest! i mean no harm to the arizona kaiju massive..
as for the rest of us,,i think this scene is small enough,,no need for background checks & mugshots...there are only 5 lottery figures available,,we will all know who the lucky few are...
why all the stress over a bit of fun????

This was from a few days ago. Hope this helps.

Is there going to be a reasonable time frame to give folks around the world enough time to join the lottery?
