Marmit Matango Man (might as well change the topic)
In frustration trying to find a certain figure I've decided to approach Marmit direct about it. It's not that old (2006- Marmit Transforming Man Matango). Anyone else ever have any luck doing this? I just emailed them, you never know until you try I always say.

Have you tried getting S7 to get what you're after? They are able to get some Marmit stuff. If not I'd e-mail Josh and see if they can help out.

As a Marmit collector, it's certainly crossed my mind. Some companies just won't sell direct outside of Japan. If shipping becomes a barrier, you could always try Masato at M-World or Rinkya as a last resort. Expensive, but reliable.

I'm pretty sure I asked Josh before but nothing ever came out of it. So I'm assuming they can't get it.

Good luck. I believe there were only 50 of the GID transforming men released. Club Tokyo had it awhile ago (1.5 yrs?), but I only went for the black matango that was released at the same time. I now regret not having picked up the transforming man.
Anyway, he seems to have a Marmit connection. Shoot him a PM.

matango is a character that seems tough to track down at first, but with a little patience, you should be able to get most of them without too much trouble. 50 is not a large run, but its on par with a lot of the 'neo-kaiju' stuff, and even the most impossible to find figures tend to make their way around with time.
i was searching for a green matango forever, and was sure if i ever found one i would have to pay like crazy to get it. one day out of nowhere there were 6 on yja, and i picked one up for like 40 bucks. patience is key!

Yeah patience is the key, that and desperate pleas on Skullbrain I was seriously looking for this guy for 6 months, only came across the non GID version on YJA once and it was going for alot of cash. Almost tempted to get it since I was about to give up the GID version and then the Kaiju gods spoke and wallha... PM in the mailbox -problem solved. As for the other Matangos, especially the M1 version of the Mushroom, they often show up on YJA. One week you'll have a dozen of them and then it will dry up for a month or so- and you'll see them infrequently, then suddenly there is a bunch again.

The transforming man is nice---but what I really want is the Mami figure M1 released.
