 fucked up @ old blue last pretty good, the singer is a maniac, definitely makes the band - does he bleed every show? i bet he does
however I am further entrenched in my opinion that english hardcore is possibly the worst in the world, i wish FU played by themselves

Fucked Up are actually from Canada. Yeah..they are a great band..fuck,I got their logo tatted on my inner right forearm. Let me know if you wants me to make some cd's of their shit for you!!!

i am totally divided with my opinion on FU. i generally love the way they go about doing most things (especially their artwork and selective 'exposure' with interviews etc) but half of their material i just think is totally average, whilst the other half is amazing. them going on MTV also seems to be a total antithesis of what hardcore/the band is meant to about be too (and no, i'm not saying they 'sold out'.)
in conclusion, ruination were better.

I feel you on their material but the good maertial fucked up has blows most bands out of the water. But like I said, I totally understand that view point. the MTV this was fucking outrageous and hilarious. much like FEAR on SNL.
Conclusion. Fucked up rules, way better than ruination.
Give hidden world another chance.
