 surfing kaiju???
So I happened upon an auction that had a surfing gamora!
Any idea on who made these? When? The listing doesn't have the company but the size (5" x 10"). The baltan freakin KILLS. The BIN on this was $199 but that seems a bit steep.
Thanks!

These appear to be battery operated tub toys if I'm not mistaken. Pretty cool.

I think the box front says "Bandai" in the lower-right corner.

I'm partial to the Redking. Even has one of the original Bullmark colorways. I love kaiju on tanks but surfboards ... way too fun. Even monsters need a little rest and recreation, and when they're done having fun, they can destroy L.A.!

I think Chad and Coop have some of these, maybe they can weigh in with more pics and info.

that would be good. I tried to google "surfing kaiju baltan", "bandai surfing baltan", "bandai surfboard baltan" and nothing came up...and the "gotta have it" drive is building

I saw the Red King one on ebay a while back. I don't remember the price being that high. I think I saved a picture. If I can find it, I'll post it later. Kaiju on surfboards is hilarious.

a mighty big thanks to akum6n for the help -- I found some on YjA here
Prices are still high, but there's Red King at least. Now that the tax return came in I just might do some investing........
silver_lining_man - have you seen the Toygraph racers? while not true hotrods, it is pretty close and they have a good selection of kaiju driving! My road rally of 8 cars can be noisy at times

holy flippin' crap hypermook - that ultraman "album cover" picture is freakin' my brain out! Where the hell did that come from?
SLM - the numbers that I've seen usually are sequential -- this gamera is a "special" edition car and they went with a high number. I think most were 1-12.
