that is them. obitsu makes the suits and those bodies. they work cool, well made.

They just don't have the history of the henshin cyborg body.

I like those bodies because they look real simple.

Would any other suits fit those bodies?

I think most suits would fit on these. I have not tried it yet, but I am thinking of putting all the skulltoys on these atleast. I will leave henshin cyborg to the SB suits.

Wow. Good work on finding these bodies!!
It will be interesting to see how well the Skulltoys chest piece fits. These bodies look much slimmer than the Henshin's and the chest piece may float about a bit on these bodies.
Glad there is other options about though.

Has anybody gotten one of these bodies yet? If so can you give a small report on how well they work with the Skulltoys suits compared to a Henshin body? Also, did you order from the site linked above or is there another online shop (stateside) to get these from?

I don't know about any purple ones. I think I'm getting a clear suit with a clear body, and a pink suit without a body though.
If anyone has any more info on Skulltoys could you post a link or something. I haven't been able to find out anything about them (other than what's on these borads and in the newest S7). I would love to know if they have anything else coming out in the future or what the production numbers on the suits are, or just some more general info about the company (from the S7 article it sounds like it might be just one guy?).

These Skull suits are the only thing the Skulltoys has released so far.

- First was the "Paint It!" Pink version limited to 69 (I think)
- Second was the "Black Riot!!" version. Unkown how many there are.
- Third is this new Clear suit. This is the first to actually come with a body.
- Fourth is an upcoming "Purple Haze" version. Clear purple suit with silver and red spray. Comes with a clearish body.

- There is also a GID inner head for the suits floating about.

There were sculpt pics of a skull with a removeable crown that was some sort of box that was up on the Skulltoys blog a little while back.

ok got my clear skull toys in the mail today from s7. I gotta say, these new bodies are actually way higher quality than the henshin repros. My only complaint is that the chest piece fits too loosely on these new bodies. So if you want the perfect fit go with henshin cyborg if you want your figure to stand up on its own go w/ these new bodies.

Thanks for the hook up s7!!

Just so u know: Vintage Henshin bodies are the bomb! Tighter joints, and a better stand than the repro's. Most of mine stand unaided despite being over 30 years old!

see if they had made the repros as high quality as the vintage henshins then they would be FAR superior to these new bodies. They are just cooler looking in general. But alas I don't have 500 bucks or whatever to fork over for a vintage 12"

Thanks for the report on the bodies fresh! I can't wait until mine get here!!! I think I'll keep an eye out for a repro Henshin body somewhere down the road (thanks for all the help on this Hottrod!)

Fresh - From the pics on the Skulltoys site, the chest on these bodies did look to be a heap smaller and I thought the chest piece would rattle about. I guess it would look nice with the side split closed though as on the Henshins it is wide open. Looking forward to getting mine in the mail soon. It is s shame though that these bodies don't have any innards peeping through!!

That's true. Alot of the charm of the henshin bodies are lost on these. But the fact that the joints are tight is enough to sell me on them. Just got the black body in the mail today and fitted the riot suit on there. chest is mega loose but otherwise the suit looks GREAT on Obitsu Body!!
