 Forum Profiles
I know Ive mentioned this before, just ignore this if it dosent apply to you or you dont care.
Im seeing alot of new faces on the board, and I know there has been some beef w/ johnny come latelys hocking their shit here.
For those of you that are new(or old) and dont have shit in your profile except your name, you might want to put where your at,interests, email.I makes me feel like you are more commited to this board and culture and that you have nothing to hide and arent here to stir up shit,or sell it.Just a suggestion.

I agree that a good profile dosent make a productive member of the forum, but it does allow people to know who you are,and become closer,If it wasnt for profiles I probably never would have found out that Lord Maz is from my old hood,or vice versa.
And I dont see why you wouldnt want to put anything in your profile, what are you hiding?

I lurk more than anything, but I have updated my profile in favor of this suggestion...it does seem like some people have drifted over here in hope of selling stuff but have not really done much actual thread reading on this site---the reason I am here is to find out more about cool toys that I might someday be able to acquire and to escape some of the bullshit that plagues other sites. I don't have the resources to pick up a huge collection of SB stuff, but I do have my eyes on a few pieces that I really like...
Even though I am a newbie here, I do find it a bit offensive when people post stuff that really doesn't fit the mood or feel of this site...I'm a long way from a rfso tattoo, but I do appreciate and respect what you guys have going on over here and would hate to see it get all fucked up. Just my point of view, take it for what it's worth...
now, back to your regularly scheduled programming...

I like sushi.
My screen name comes from a fucked up lowbudget cult film of the 80s.
Note, I'm not recommending to rent it.
Plot Synopsis: Invisible aliens in a tiny flying saucer come to Earth looking for heroin. They land on top of a New York apartment inhabited by a drug dealer and her female, androgynous, bisexual nymphomaniac lover, a fashion model. The aliens soon find the human pheromones created in the brain during orgasm preferable to heroin, and the model's casual sex partners begin to disappear. This increasingly bizarre scenario is observed by a lonely woman in the building across the street, a German scientist who is following the aliens, and an equally androgynous, drug-addicted male model. (Both models are played by Anne Carlisle, in a dual role.).
Also slang for heroin as it's being cooked in a spoon or so I have heard.
Other unrelated stuff:
I just had eight interviews for a new job that I hope I'll land in the next week.
This better work out as my current boss is a utter POS.
I work with Mac OSX computers and design workflows (and use other lame corporate lingo). I prefer the RSS version of this site.
Currently single so I'm racing to fill out a collection before I meet the next hot girl who'll disapprove or attempt to put the breaks on my collecting.
I also collect mp3 albums off Usenet (450GB and climbing) and art books.
I get free cable, piggyback off a neighbor's unprotected wireless connection and don't own a phone. Don't own pets, but I have some crazy ass furniture that they would destroy if I did.
I'm stuck on the east coast so the Super7 store is out of my reach.
Finally, I'm not a rude cold bastard like most Bostonians I work with.

Dude it sucks. Trust me, sounds much better on paper than in reality.
Piss poor graphics and special effects, stilted dialog etc.

Has anyone ever taken cultural Anthropology?I guess Im just fascinated in the type of people that are drawn to our little sub-culture,or micro-culture.Thats prob why it bothers me when people dont fill out their profiles.Who buys SB?What do these people do for a living?where do most of them live,East coast?West Coast?South?Overseas?Im sure Im the only one that cares,or is at least interested.

I was at the football the other weekend (Australian Rules) and a Norwegian cultural anthropology student was sitting next to my friend and I. He was there with his mum doing a survey about people going to the footy. We gave him a brief run down on how you score and how the game is actually played, then he asked a couple questions later in the game about his survey. He was shy, so he just skipped most of them!!
