I just got back myself... oddly, I did not see any nerds across the aisle.
For anyone concerned about the $15 to get in, I went in, looked around a bit, bought my figures from Hiro and Josh, and then went outside and yelled "Day pass for $10 no waiting in line!"... got an immediate taker on the pass.

The guy at the door was kinda upset that I did it... kinda grumbled that I was scalping my pass, but I said that that it doesn't apply if I sell for less than what I paid for it. (I'm not actually sure if that's true, but he left me alone after that)
