Not being a big RxH collector or completist I thought to myself..."hey I can start collecting this cute mini Chaos, I really like them" I have the secret one that came out, being a new series I can start snagging all the individual releases.....
Then this comes out.

At least he was nice enough to package it as a set. I could see this easily having been sold singly or by blind-bags...

I wouldn't mind having one or three of these but ... while I don't feel as strongly as uberboy about this, it's not like they have a LOT of differentiating character ... just eyes and a bit of metallic spray. Are we too easily impressed sometimes? I actually think that releasing these individually in lucky bags would have been fun. The promise of the fully painted secret Mutant Head mini excites me more than these simpler Chaos paints. Now if a full-paint Chaos mini gets released, all Chaos will break out.

I am easily impressed by pretty colors and shiny things.
Rainbow sets do have the advantage of lookin' real good when they're displayed together on a shelf. DR pulled something similar with the set of Merodomes from the last Superfest- all physically identical except for the color of paint sloshed inside the vinyl. I really like they way they look lined up on my shelf as a transition of color.

Yes! 2 so far I think... came as part of the original lucky bag releases.
The 2 on the left side of the image... black with green spatter, and plain black with red bandana.

If they tried to pull this shit with full sized figures I can see how someone MIGHT feel a little ripped, but I think the idea works for minis and is fun.
No, I don't wanna whole set either, I only want 2-3, but still a fun idea.
I don't think the idea is "here are 8 different colorways" vs. "here is one big fun idea to kick off some minis." I dunno, that make sense to anyone?
BTW, contact me if you're serious about splitting a set/getting a group already, I want the Blue BAD and am interested in the pink and the orange a bit too.

It will get more love once it actually has some paint on it. People didn't flip for the standard size unpainted red pearl either. Give me some more "fighting spirit" style rubbed paint!!!!
