Is anyone after the mini baby chaos red pearl? Doesn't seem to be getting much love.

I know I bought one :)

It will get more love once it actually has some paint on it. People didn't flip for the standard size unpainted red pearl either. Give me some more "fighting spirit" style rubbed paint!!!!

Bite your tongue!!! It's perfect the way it is!!!

They had to charge you more for your mini so they could charge me less than retail on the stuff I bought

Sad - figures tend to fall off the web page as they are sold out....this one didn't

Very True. It's still up. It was going to be my first chaos. I actually like the pearl red mini. Not to fond of the standard size because that's been painted some amazing color but for some reason the mini looks cool to me.

I passed on the ninjas that night but I guess I should have picked up one to balance my bill. I even tried to tell GR they goofed on those prices, I think they were $35? but they wouldn't listen...

They also sold the SB Dead By Gun Skullbrain for $45. I think they had the Buzz Lightyear Space Barbarian for $40, as well.

Sorry - not trying to hijack- back to the mini chaos.

Not sure if people have already commented on this,
but there's a long history of selling mini-toys on cards like this:
ImageImage

When you went in the shop you just ripped off & paid for the one you wanted.
(You can prob think of examples of this from your own childhood).
With kaiju they were often necklaces for some reason, like this Godzilla:
Image

I think this was the look Mori was going for with these mini-Chaoses,
and while I think he's succeeded in that, & they look great all together,
as individual figures I'm with the people saying "Meh!".
The colors strike me as kind of lazy, or rushed perhaps.

There's definitely things I'd rather spend $150+ on,
but if I did buy a set, I think I'd be inclined to keep them as is.

Ah - the old $40.00 a piece impulse item! I remember those from being a kid!

If I did get a set I would definetly keep them in pack together.

OK ...

WHEREAS several people have expressed interest in splitting up a set, and
WHEREAS folks really don't seem to be all going for the same one or two of these, and
WHEREAS most of us probably already have 'hold bags' at S7, and
WHEREAS there is as yet no info on how many S7 will have available;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT ...

Just in case S7 is willing to allow one 8-pack set to be split in-house there at S7 and put people's choices in the hold bags, let's start a list. I think every one but the yellow has been mentioned already in this thread, but since jebcrow PMed me, he is the only one I know has not already obtained one elsewhere.

I'm willing to pay for the whole set up front and be reimbursed, or S7 can charge us each by-the-piece, either way is fine with me.

Remember that S7 has not agreed to ANY of this ... but just in case it's cool with them ... why not?

I don't see one I'd call 'purple' ...

By 'red,' I mean to claim the one in the lower right corner ...

Do you mean the second from the left in the bottom row (which I'd've called pink) ... or are you just enacting your ID ... or are you trying to cause trouble already? :D

it looks like there's two yellow/gold-ish versions... the "yellow" looks like it has the standard eye, and the "gold" has the cat eye... but it's kinda hard to tell for sure.
