Personally not a fan of the blood splatter . . . I cry on the inside at missing the set and cry a little more at seeing them being defaced! . . . but to each their own!

I must say though, out of all of the toys I've seen with "blood" spattered on them, these are very well done. There is a hand painted quality to the application, as well as more than one color being used to pull off the effect. If you're a fan like LD & DB, this goes along very nicely with the activity depicted in the amazing plexi print.

The entire package looks fantastic with or without the blood, glad you didn't go with the standard toothbrush splatter.

Blood splatter looks pretty fricking awesome. I still would get it without but i agree it's probably the best I've seen.

No crap, I think I'm going no-paint too, it's just more "RxH"ish and they'll go better with my other Heads. Not easy at all though, that blood is the best. Less of a spray and much more of a violent splatter. Maybe I'll change my mind one day and send them back to be bloodied.

I thought about it and after all I think this set isn't complete without the blood. It was the original idea, and for it to go all the way and not get the blood is like a good movie without an ending.

I also thought about the taking them out the package thing. Also if he paints them will it loose its value ... This set is rare but I have even more rare figures that I have taken out the package,so thats not gonna matter. As well this IS a Lamour Supreme MxM x RxH set so he is an artist involved in the set legitimizing the add ons. Not and outside artist doing work on them. This IS his run.

I asked for Joel to sign the feet of booth my figs. For me to be painted in Japan and hand blooded in the USA is a full circle. Two of my favorite artist in one figure is a dream come true. Its always a task for 2 artist to come together and work on one subject. I think this colaboration was executed perfectly and couldn't get any better.


And his blood spatter is the BEST that I have ever seen. I have NO blood spatted figures. So for me it had to be perfect. This gets NO better. Makes the blobpus figs which where the best in blood look like child's play. If you notice he even went and added multiple colors and brush strokes to give it depth and direction. Well thought out.

Not to mention those of you who choose no blood will only make the blood spattered ones that more rare. I just hope that once they leave Joel's hands he wont go back to re-blood the ones that don't have it.

These sets are just unbelievable. I love them soo much. The concept of evil tearing off heads ear and head giving evil that nasty scar is just awesome! The bloody ones are my fave, but I'd kill for either set!
