This is definitely a disgusting video -- but if _this_ is what pisses you off, when something like a few million Iraqis (incl. a huge number of children) have died as a direct result of our involvement in that country over the last decade, well, all I can say is you should have gotten pissed off a long, long time ago, and a puppy getting thrown off a cliff, as sick as it is, shouldn't have been the straw to break the camel's back.

I saw this video and I feel like im scarred for life. I seriously shed a tear. What a bastard this guy is.

The part I think that could be faked is the puppy itself. It doesn't move, it could be dead already. Or a doll. The yelping sound could have been supplied by one of the people there or dubbed in later.

And I guess every other aspect of it could be faked, too. We have no idea whether the setting is Iraq or Afghanistan or somewhere outside of LA. The whole video only lasts 16 seconds, and is grainy as all hell.

It's all about conduct. The reason this video of a puppy is having so much affect on us is because it shows so-called 'peacekeepers' behaving like jackasses which absolutely tarnishes the image of the government and makes u think 'I live in a country governed by these people'?

Last I checked, these two guys or anyone else in the military did not govern the United States.

And sure, they're held to a higher code of conduct, but at the end of the day they accomplish what they're ordered to do by shooting people and blowing things up. Once some people cross that line they have a hard time coming back.

If the video is real, and it is a real live puppy being thrown into a ditch by a soldier serving in the Middle East, then I'm still not shocked. The puppy is limp because well its a puppy and its trusting and its being held on the scruff of its neck so it thinks its with its mother or someone it can trust.
