I have a couple of Gogas. This was for the Black Aurora version....which is mighty nice.....was this an anticipated auction price?

http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/s ... =w21211921

I figured it would go for between 800-1000.....crazy!

What year was this figure released? Was it limited to like...10?

It came out the same time as the first vader dako...so maybe 2 years ago at the most? Not sure on the run number.

i thought this was the brown version just released at a show in Japan - I had someone translate the auction for me and that's what he said. That it was released in an addition of 3. Although it's more rare than the aurora I'll bet the aurora will go for a lot more if and when it comes up.

Bottom line is - most of us, including me, will likely never get another gogas and that totally sucks.

I sat watching this auction's last 10 minutes turn into 20-25 minutes. As the bids went up in the last five minutes the clock kept resetting another five minutes! I guess yja's method helps curb sniping. I thought the translation mentioned it was the Black Aurora but I guess it is the brown one from Wonderfest. I seriously didn't think these would reach that high. That last Goga auction I posted in another thread went for 65,000 yen and I thought a far better paint scheme. Timing as always must play a factor. As much as I love the Gogas I couldn't spend that much in good conscious. Damn, I guess I'll have to start offering two Bemons to get one. LoL!

HAH! I thought it was gonna be in the $600 range too but $1000 is just over the top. Well it's still not as ridiculous as the other Goga the same seller is auctioning off at $2600.

Translation I ran came back as Aurora version milky way brown colouring or something to that effect. It definitely alludes to Aurora and its kind of deceptive in that it could seem to be the black Aurora but then not...

I wonder if his mention of the Aurora version was more of a ploy to drive the bidding up. It's so odd that he cropped his Goga pics the way he did. His/her other auctions show full figure views.

Didn't know these were old versions.
Is this brown one then considered some sort of Aurora version?
I thought just the black vinyl versions were considered as such.

It is definitely not the "Darth Vader"/Aurora colourway. I would have join the battle if its the vader version as i just missed it when released and have been looking since.
the one on yja appears to be the brown ver. It is not MIB either, there's a break in the bag.

However, the description reads milky brown which i wouldn't use to describe the brown/gold ver from the WF pics that I have taken.
The two I spotted at WF are not new, they were from 05.
don't know the exact run as usual, but the seller believe its definitely under 10.

Maybe the pics from my handphone are not good, the brown/gold is actually one of best colourway i have seen on a goga. i need to buy a better camera :D
