I could only hope for a vinyl toy of the Paranoids from Gall Force, but then reality smacks me in the behind.

This is one of those minis that will be released at the next Hobby Complex:
http://artstorm.co.jp/s_monsters.htm
It's called "Ikapokkun."

I think it's only sold as a set.

Longneck toys have this remarkable way of emulating vintage kaiju "blobbiness." If someone told me that the toy in the photo above dated to 1973, I'd be inclined to believe them.

they are very unusual, I just got a Gasbawer and I can't
understand why its not more appreciated.. Its awesome.
Longneck guy is a true master of his craft.
hmm.. i just read that the pre reserve ends 3.12.08..
if anyone reads this and is planning on getting the set
I would buy the Longneck one for $25 which I think is
1/3 the price for the set. I would post this in "wanted"
but the close date is drawing near so just PM me.

Very true, does not look 'new' at all. Even the colors are pretty retro

yes i read that thread when it was posted 6 days ago
as well but it made no mention or reference of this
"Ikapokkun" figure..
just some flatwoods, matango & nekkid harpy comments
& the actual Artstorm ad does not list Longneck with the
contributing artists info..
is Mr. H using another pseudonym for this?
the pic and info i saw and posted from Sofvi peaked my interest
in this figure. I actually meant to post this thread in the Japan
Toys section so if someone can pack this up and send it there
that would make more sense.
in any case I still REALLY do want the "Ikapokkun" figure so if anyone,
be it S7 store staff or other SB member is planning on getting the
whole set and would part with that "Ikapokkun" please PM me.
Thanks so much!

Looks like the company is listed as Cosmo Night (Knight?) alpha, which is the store that sells bemons and longneck I believe. Not sure if the designer is the same guy who does longneck?
