I absolutely love the tap water in San Francisco.

Bottled water is a foolish, wasteful industry.

...unless you're in a foreign country, and don't want a case of the squirts...

For the price of bottled water, its actually cheaper in the long run to get those Brittas filter thingies, then you get the best of both worlds.

I fill my recycled water bottle with tap water everyday for work. Like Hypermook said Bottled Water is a very wasteful industry:

yeah...britta filter works for me. My wife has a very keen sense of taste where she sometimes can't drink tap water but for me...it's what I grew up on and i'm healthy..no complaints.

Buying and paying for plastic containers just gets pricey and seems bad for the environment.

Not to mention that tap water is FDA controlled and bottled water is not. It's also FAR more expensive with the bottle, and that plastic should be used to make more toys. Plust tap water has flouride that keeps teeth looking charming. The tap is awesome. 8)

The tap water in my town is high in radium and has all kinds of weird floating particles in it. Needless to say, it's not the best.
