 More of the controversial Diablo This time it seems like it'll be available through intheyellow. A black blank figure with the clear hand extension.

Black looks cool but after the playdoh's review. I'm drawn towards the diablo's left hand and it does look pretty bad. This one also looks like it has a 6 pack which I didn't notice before

that hand looks like Mark Pauline's from that robot art group SRL...like it went through a wood chipper or something...
if this wasn't Blobpus, I would be less inclined to be so hard on it...but it is Blobpus and doesn't meet up to those standards, nor does it fit in that world at all...
yuck. meh. etc.

So far I've found all the recent colorways as being pretty bland. If Blobpus wants Diablo to succeed they'd better step up their game to compromise for the debatable sculpt.

I liked the clear brown better.
Was the painted one that appeared on the early flyer released (red & black I think)?

I do not like the clear hand at all... an all black Diablo would have been so much better for this release...!!!

I really like this sculpt and this colorway, so much so that I just bought it. Should arrive in the next 2 weeks, I'll let ya'll know what I think when it arrives. The hand doesn't bother me so much, I like all things Cthulhu-esque and this dude definitely fits the bill. I actually think he might be happy chilling with the clear gray Usugrow...

I think it's pretty sick myself I just think an all black version would have gone over much better than the clear handed version...
but hey, that's just one toy collectors opinion among many...

Hey, it's your toy...I get the impression that this isn't a particularly popular idea around here. After all, many of these toys are "R@RE"...and to defile such things would hurt the delicate sensibilities of your fellow board members.
But then again, they're fucking toys.

The red one is siiiick kinda wish I had held out for it, had a line on it this morning but oh well........ I like black w/ clear hand, and it was a lot cheaper. heh
