A little, I'm still slightly interested. I guess it's NOT a sequel according to Marvel, they just hated the first so much and now that they have they're own studio decided to give it another go.

Ed Norton as Banner, Tim Roth as Abomination? I have a little more hope for this.

Ang Lee is an exceptional director, but "Hulk" was just so wrong for him. What he's known for ... a deep sort of humanism, is exactly what spoiled the movie. Well that and some pretty shocking technical flaws. I think Marvel saw "Crouching Tiger" and thought "he's a great action/adventure director!" not realizing that his heart was more in the human drama than the magical fighting.

Edward Norton, um ... really great actor in the right role, but ... yeah, seems wrong. We'll see. I agree that the new Hulk design looks too CGI but you don't really see much. My first thought was "oh, it's the Cloverfield Hulk" LOL.

Comics are pretty hard to pull off in cinematic form, we've known that for decades now. It seems pretty rare that one translates as successfully as "Hellboy."

looks better than the last one. this one seems to amp up the hulk vs. army theme that used to be the bulk of incredible hulk comics back in the day. but abomination? big guys fighting big guys to see who is stronger is boring. let me guess, the one with the most heart wins.

I want to see this and the Iron Man movie do well enough so someone will greenlight an Iron Man: Hulkbuster script.

Fuck CGI!

I guess what kind of bums me out is the cgi with regards to the hulk. When norton transforms into the hulk, I immediately feel as if I'm watching a video game.

I just don't see why they can't take a human and do it.

In the Lord of the Rings trilogy they were able to make regular people look like hobbits..I don't see why they couldn't take a physically strong actor and make him look really imposing.
Anyway..there is always The Dark Knight and Indiana Jones to look forward too

LOL When I think of the Hulk this image always come to mind.
I never forget the episode where the heavy gas bottles fell on him.
Next thing the bottles were being hurled out of the back of the van.

I started looking at some sites listing episodes. Check the synopsis for some of these episodes. This stuff could only have been made in the late 70's to early 80's for TV. Not all politically correct I might add...

EPISODE 15 'Ricky'

"David befriends a midget wrestler and becomes involved with the community of the vertically challenged."

I actually really liked the ang lee one. it's probably the only Marvel movie that I really liked. This ed norton one looks like it's gonna be another lame and predictable Marvel movie with a transparent and typiclaly safe plot...and you can bet your ass there's gonna be some type of manipulative plot twist, or "marvel universe epic event" tie in with the comic books...


Boy, MARVEL has really shit the bed with all their movie adaptations.

Nolte was insanely awesome. Bana was good. And I never get sick of staring at Jennifer Connely. I also really loved the opening title sequence.
