Man I loved silverhawks! I've gotta get that Monstar figure! I used to have him back when I was a kid but somehow I lost it and could never figure where it went. Thanks for the trip down the memory lane.

all the toys had some sort of flipping mechanism. like their arms would flip up exposing their wings... mon star had the head that flipped over. there was a bull one who's head would buck like a bull

Quality American cartoons. I would actually do my homework for the next day while I was still in school just so I could watch cartoons when I got home. There was a lot of cool cartoons like Silverhawks, Visionaries, Thundercats, MASK, The Galaxy Rangers, and a bunch more. While looking around youtube, I found this:

ENJOY :D

I bought a carded Monstarr at the Wizard Comic Con a few years ago for like $10. Ah, the memories. But I think the best toy was, by far, Buzz-Saw.

It's funny, though- there's far less people that remember this show than I would have thought, given that it had a pre-Transformers time slot in Hawaii.

ONe of my favorite toys of the silverhawks was Flashback. I think he was the only green guy.

Anyone who' grew up in the 80's was into the Toy, me included. Even some of the girl's I knew then liked it. The production values of that show is totally outstanding comparing to others. 8)

I have almost no memories of the actual tv show but I had both Mumbo Jumbo the bull, and buzz saw and loved both when i was younger. i think Mumbo Jumbo ended up being melted by a sparkler during my destructive tween years.
