It's already available in Japan, though how many pieces I don't know. I do like it, buit it's too big for my shelves. Self imposed size limits save money!

I love it. I've been hoping for one with some paint and some blue, and I love how this dramatically takes advantage of Shinto's split man/beast nature.

FINALLY! the seventh shinto! I like odd numbers.
hmmm...I would've loved to see this in blue vinyl w/o the black split as well. great color. This split design is pretty sweet though.

Aw Vombie you know you're gonna love it after it's been on the shelf for a few minutes. Put the all-black on the black side and the secret green on the blue side and you'll have some nice chroma goin' on there.
If I recall correctly, wasn't there a Shinto in one of the store photos that was entirely the metallic blue/silver scheme?

I also saw an entirely black Shinto.

Do you mean other than the regular production release? With black eyes or something like that?
I just realized that this is the first Shintosan with one of the "cat eyes" instead of the usual yellow, orange or red "rabbit eyes."
Also has one black eye which may mean that it comes with one half of a rice cracker.

Yup, two black eyes.
I like this one- looks like a black stone statue coming to life.

I like it too but with the exception of the eyes, it appears to be the same as the all-black production release. Pathetic is the lot of the completist. I mean, if that thing gets released, I'll buy it, but it's way too similar to the former all-black release. I wish it WAS the production release. I dig the all-black-including-eyes thing. I call it "negative space RxH." Not exactly popular ... the K-T Chaos is easy to find for less than retail, but it makes a statement. Thanks for posting the photo.

Me too.
It'll be cool to observe the fray and not care even remotely about missing this.

Shintosan has never been an especially popular RxH figure, which is sort of nice for those few of us who like it. The slime fans probably feel the same way.

I like the shintosan, but the figure has a huge footprint and shelf space is a premium. The grin is a bit too much for me as well. One of the few times something is too "cartoony".

Atease really sums it up well, there's no subtlety, its clunky and the size is problematic.

+1, except I'm not sure I'd even feel the need to add this one to the existing all-black ('Midnight'?) one, since it looks like the only difference is the eyes.
Mori might release it though, since I understand the Midnight Shinto was so limited - He released the K-T Chaos after the limited Patchi Summit all-black Chaos, and likewise the only difference there is the eyes and scarf. (Also, though I'm not expecting to sell anyway, I paid a boardie who will remain mercifully nameless a tough price for my Midnight Shinto. I got whipsawed -- 'I'll sell you [X] you need to complete your set ... so long as you also buy the Midnight Shinto for $150.' But hey ... I'm a big boy, I coulda just said no.)
I do like this two-tone, plus the Shintos needed another one in a cooler color to help the green one with balancing out all the warmer color ones - goldmist, flesh, yellow, red, etc.

I like the idea of the shinto and think this one looks very cool with the half and half coloring.
