garadama wrote: actually bootleg is not that tough to spot. A bootleg normally have a big difference in the size. If we concern about bootleg that custom paint by someone to disguise / pretend to be some painted original one. We better concern about those unpainted one. Coz someone ever mentioned about removing paint from a painted one to act as an unpainted version. I don wanna mention his name. But seems like the unpainted one is much risky coz the vinyl is authentic. How could we know the unpainted one is not one that had paint but washed off ?
 What?
Plain and simple - the white is a reissue. Not good for the hobby. Never had been and never will be!

Alright I'm not trying to argue with you, I was just trying to make my point. My point has been miscommunicated and I apologize if I offended anyone. I'm obsessive about certain things, and this must just be one of them. It's your money, do whatever you want to with it, paint, not paint, I don't care

I think the oonly reason Mori reissued these is because the originall lucky bag whites have started to go a bit off white. It just isn't the same!

if bag and header is really a matter, let's see how those rare rxh on YJA will end up with . They all missing header and bag; but I think serious collector won't care.

The only way I would by one now is if the seller where to show a pic of the neck. And it would have to be a clear un-punctured neck.

The tag. They punch the tag in with a thick needle gun. It leaves a puncture in the vinyl.
O and someone else mentioned this to me. Watch out for all future marsh mellow chaos figures that are not in sealed bag from here on out.

Haaa, so the marsh mellow one would be a risky one in the future. Any other which is painted using the unpainted white vinyl evil ?

doesn't the fact that there is this difference...this tiny little hole everyone is talking about...make it obvious to anyone who cares that it's a reissue?
just saying that to those who do care, now you have a way to show you know and have the original unpainted white...
for those who don't and want a great canvas to paint a really cool new Evil without ruining one of Mori's painted ones they now have it...
so it looks to me like both sides can be perfectly happy with the situation. to me, this seems much ado about absolutely nothing. but maybe I'm just hoping to get scalped by the RxH police.
would you really rather people acetone a mutant evil you don't have in your collection so the few people who actually have the original white unpainted can either gloat or sell it to you for a ton of cash? I saw very few unpainted whites in the RxH collections page...
and anyone low enough to try and push this off as an OG unpainted is just sad...
I think this type of freakout is better saved for when an actual reissue comes down the pike, no?

well said.
have the LB white and ordered a bunch of the KT solid for painting. really happy to have these blanks, otherwise it is so expensive to paint over existing ones. if another LB evil comes along, i certainly wouldn't mind to trade/buy it for a fair value.

No, I nearly did but didn't have time. I used photoshop to get the contrast right and couldn't resist using the hue and saturation too...

Cool -- Bought the Mini to match the standard Solid Chaos. This is my first Mini Chaos, and I hope I don't get the fever for those.
