If I'm not mistaken - those original Balzac figs were a BxH release.

if my memory serves me right, the balzac are by Medicom.. Narue Oka is the man behind it, dont think BxH has any part in it..

The Balzacs are Medicom figures, but with BxH involvement. This was also the case with the 12" Sid Vicous by Medicom and the bank robber figure to name but two.

The following text I suspect explains all, but then I can't read Japanese......

toytokyo has had one of those Balzac figures made by medicom but with the BxH header for a long time. I think it is because they are trying to charge $500.00 for it. I asked someone about it a long time ago and they said they were an exlcusive that was sold at the BxH shops only and that is why it has the header!!!!!!!!!!!!!
