Post are you guys going to miss me when I'm at Disney World?
all next week?

I won't be able to post about toys or horror movies or any of the other dumb stuff I talk about.

and yes to answer your question, I'm thinking about possibly taking some toys along for photo ops.

I got married at Disney World in 2003.

The ceremony was at the Polenesean Resort at Sunset point on the beach.

The reception was actually a sit down dinner at the Grand Floridean. The dinner was set up like the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Plus we had character guests- Mad Hatter (who gave out chocalate mushrooms), the White Rabbit (who gave out Alice in Wonderland PVC X-Mas ornaments), Alice, and the Queen of Hearts.

Then, for the finale, we had a desert party at Epcot with a private viewing of the Epcot firework show. We got to take a bus and enter Epcot thru a secret entrance escorted by Disney security...

Obviously, my wife and I like Disney World a little bit...

yeah, I'll cop to it -- I go to the parks once or twice a year. My family even bought a house outside of Orlando! It's fun and I'm dying to ride Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom! When I was there in October they were finishing up on it and the ride looks very cool :D

Expedition Everest is totally why we're going. well, that and the fact that missy has never been there. I think everyone should go at least once in their lives. and I love it there.

Chad, I find out that we have more in common every day. you should PM me with disney secret pointers. I love to hear advice from disney fanatics and compare it to what I've heard before. everyone always has some interesting trick to tell.

I will ride the Haunted Mansion for you all...many, many times. last time I was there it broke down while I was in it, and the lights came on, and I took pictures of how the magic happens. if I can find them, I'll post some.

I've never been on the Sea World coaster (Kraken). I really want to go on it, but can't justify paying for a full admission just for the ride. but it's the only coaster down there I haven't been on (I think there is a new one at Busch Gardens Tampa I haven't been on either).

I'm pretty big into roller coasters, although I've settled down a little bit in recent years. I used to be a member of ACE, the American Coasters Enthusiasts, but haven't really been on a big park trip in a few years now.

Sea world also has a good ride where you sit in it and it throws you about and you watch something on TV, simulator or something. Its uber cool.

What about seeing the dolphins

I don't know if I'd call myself a Disney fanatic but I enjoy going there, which is about once a year.

There is actually a lot of adult stuff to do, if you look and have the time.

Example- dining. There are some good restaraunts with good food and drink all over the place. Plus Epcot has a food and wine festival twice a year (I think).

Plus, I am a I FART A LOT, and will only stay at the Disney Resorts along the monorail. This saves on time and you can literally go crazy jumping back and forth to different parks with a park hopper ticket.

One day, my wife and I went back and forth between the Magick Kingdom and Epcot all day, meeting different people at different parks, having dinner at Epcot, then shutting down the Magick Kingdom.

When a group of us went to Tokyo last summer we were all supposed to go visit Tokyo DIsneyland. I wasn't that struck on the idea, but after visiting Nakanoa the day before the planned trip, I sacrificed my visit to go shopping there again. Wouldn't we all do that given a choice?

My friends mentioned one ride (name escapes me) that is slow for the kiddies here in ANaheim, but the Tokyo version looked the same but was totally sped up like a thrill ride, and even the accompanying tune was faster. Now that sounds rad!

I would totally skip my shopping day to go to Tokyo Disney, sorry. If I do ever get over there, I'm definitely making sure I get to go there at least 1 day.

this is the first time I'm staying at a Disney resort since I was about 7, when I stayed at the Contemporary for my birthday (talk about being close to the monorail). every other time I've stayed off Disney property. we rented a car as to facilitate our hopping madness, and we're also going to Universal for a day or two so that makes that easier. I'm a spoiled brat about not having transportation at my immediate disposal when I want to go; for the most part I hate buses, trams, shuttles, etc.

we are probably going to try to have a nice dinner or two while there, but we didn't make any advance reservations or anything. neither of us drink though, so no real partying for us. I'm actually probably the biggest little kid in the world, and still have the mentality of a child, at least when fun is concerned. they gear all this stuff toward adults like sports and horseback riding and beaches and nightclubs and stuff and I'm all "where are the rides and candy?!!!"
