I would assume that there will be an open ended series of "Last Kaiju"...

I could be alone on this, but I don't like the new Blobpus sculpt as much as the old one. The new sculpt looks too much like all the Hedorah figures out there. Just my opinion. Maybe I'll change my mind when I see one painted.

I kinda agree with the Hedorah connection. I also think the 1st Blobpus has a much more classic feel to it. But until I can see one in person I won't know how I will take to it. I think alot is also riding on the 1st paint scheme, I sure hope it's a good one !

I am feeling the same about this. It was a nice try, but this new sculpt doesn't really grab my attention.

 more photos
From what I saw I liked it, but I'd like to see a few more shots from different angles.
The thing that draws me to the whole blobpus design(s) are the fact that they remind me of what I'd imagine various H.P. Lovecraft Cthulhu creatures look like.

I mean, you gotta hand it to them for keeping our intrest with just one sculpt done over and over again.
I look forward to getting this in my grubby hands.
I admire Blobpus, he's my hero. Nice to see he's grown up and ready to seek revenge on those that sutured his eyes shut.
He's symbolic of the last 2 years of my life.I can relate.
The dude has hopes.

Yeah, me. I've only seen the one pic in the newest S7 though. Also, (and I'm gonna get hung for this!) I'm not the hugest fan of the original Blobpus, some of the colorways looks great, but I haven't had too strong of an urge to buy one yet.

I didn't care for Blobpus the first time I saw him... the first ones I saw were the Hawaii and Tokyo colorways, which I still consider to be pretty "meh...". But after seeing the clears and some of the other colorways, I was hooked. I'm still looking for a clear purple Invader Blobby by the way...

I have no idea where this pic came from but it looks pretty nice. Not sure if this is real or not.

Somebody posted it on Artoyz if I remember well.. I apologize if it happens to be a proto or something. But somebody told me there was a pre-sale in Japan for that version already, and it should be sold soon, so I guess it's really the painted version..

OK yeah I figured that's where it came from and those kids are known for posting up photoshopped shit so no telling if this is real. Looks pretty damn cool tho, even if it is just a photoshop job.
