I just noticed the red and black dudes have different head sculpts -- note the teeth on black, versus red...

i just got my painted one and as i said, no manner of paint can disguise the flaws in the sculpting of the body. i do like the character, but unless he does a resculpt of the body, i think my clear amber and painted brown will suffice.

 diablo I cant wait to see mine in person, got the clear brown and the red on the way, got to say that hand looks weird in the pics, is it any better up close? is the pic at a bad angle? is there any sculpting on the other side? I too noticed the mouths are different, I was thinking it would be an extrra switchable peice included, interesting its just different on each. Id get a black if I knew where one was to buy, let me know if anyone ends up with an extra=) I love the head, cant wait to see one of these up close, are the arms or head switchable with any other blobpus releases, wings or tentacle arms could look awesome with the rest of the sculpt!

diablo Thats awesome! thanks for the pics. got a black one on the way=)
btw, I cant find the s7 issue, but in the list of the early blobpus releases, I think one of the first was solid black with clear hand attatchment, I think this color scheme is in tribute to that.

JUST opened up my all-black Diablo, and let me say, it is even BETTER than I had hoped for. The left hand looks much better in person, the photos I've seen don't do the left hand detail justice. The whole sculpt is very very solid, he even has wings, and the articulated tentacle cluster on the face kicks butt. Another A+ from Blobpus, woot! The painted red version looks just NUTS...
