I love these two most common of Hawaiian colorways, but remember a post in which Brian said that there were several that had been identified. I wish I knew how to learn more about them. Perhaps when the database is ready to roll, it'll be a good reference point on that topic.

yep.
This Hawaii color way is just the Hedroah version there are loads of other hawaii spray colors. All I know it this variation reminds me the most of home.

Or if you're Kozik, it's "Ugly Hippy Rasta Rave."
But see ... this is where it gets confusing for me. I see those as "pink Hawaii" and "yellow Hawaii." However I've also seen it called "Tokyo."
Someday there will be a Mook-like entity for we who are still learning ...

I'm not sure if this is really referred to as the Tokyo colorway. I think it is just the original color scheme of the Bullmark Hedorah released in Japan. I know some people have called it the Tokyo colorway on this board, but I've never seen it called that before. But I could be totally wrong...

We are working on a Hawaii article for the Mook but we don't have photos of all the toys yet so it may end up being in Mook 6 or 7 at this point.

Yeah, never heard it referred to as a "Tokyo" colorway, either. And if you wanted to be more precise, you could call the pinkies "Hawaii Hedorah" versions.
A couple of discussions we've had on the subject:

Wow, thank you for a most excellent teaser! That's really cool news. Best of luck with the toy round-up.

I can't speak for wing_clipper but maybe like me he was thinking of the Blobpus edition where a similar colorway was called "Tokyo?"

I've been really investigating the hawaiian and tokyo colorways lately, and this is probably the most of both colors I've seen put together ever. Super awesome collection Glenn. The only ones missing (besides pink squash face hedoran) that I can see are these: Iwakura mini hedorah yellow- they made that as a chase right? Charactics Yellow Middle Size Hedorah Pilot Ace Pink Hedorah Charactics Pink Matango Regardless this is an great shelf (it's my desktop background now.
